Looking around the league with all the injuries and suspensions, Texans don't have it that bad.

Will Fuller having a hamstring issue is a bit concerning considering he's most likely going to be running the 9 route for the majority of his snaps. If you can't push off at full strength and get to your top speed quickly, DBs will eat that up. I hope it's more precautionary for rest rather than him actually tweaking it.

Bored at work, checked out Bears forum when someone said even Bears homers don't think they will win.

Check out this one guy comparing Hopkins and Alshon Jeffrey.
    http://www.chicitysports.com/forum/...eek-1-Bears-at-Texans-Predict-the-Score/page3

He posts all of DHop's stats and number of games then Jeffrey's slightly better stats, but forgets to mention he has a whole year on Hopkins... Among other things like the 8 QBs that have thrown him the ball. Crazy the board didnt blow up on him, I mean thinking who wins the game is one thing, but it's more than just the homer in me that knows Dhop is better than Jeffrey.

I am sure there were times when if someone were to offer us Antonio Brown for an aging Andre Johnson that we would have refused. Homers yes, but there is nothing wrong with that. I think it is awesome that people get behind their team that much.

Fair enough, its still funny to read. All the homers, and one guy (conveniently named Novak) that is just calling them dumb. He said ask anyone outside of Chicago who the better WR is, they said Jeffrey no doubt, so he is posting links to every sports ranking with Jeffrey not even on the list.

I think if Andre was barely on the list and you offered us a young stud like Hopkins, Robinson, or something like that we wouldnt be this homered.

But I too suffer from Homerism and I agree with you that it is good to have faith in your team, showing support is awesome.

You should see some of the old threads on guys like Lestar Jean etc.

We were pretty awful. All you can do is follow the thread sunday after the game.

I am sure Nuk will probably show out much more than Alshon.

Alshon is a good player, but he isn't the playmaker that Nuk is. There is certainly a difference in ability.

Haha i have gone out of my way to erase the Lestar Jean days from my memory. But I see your point, every teams fans do it. It's just funny cuz the media picks opposite Houston 98% of the time, this is a time they would side with us. As well as almost any time Watt is in the comparison.

Of the 4 Bears picks, it was: Best QB (QBR), Best run game (YPG), Road team, and Chris Chase. And I would argue that despite last year's YPG, we have the better run game this time.

The one in which they said the Bears would win because Brock was playing a road game was hysterical.

Guess he needs to remake it and think of another excuse why the Bears will win.
