Stop ducking the question. How is he declining? Pau is 1 of the most consistent players in the league. It's insane homerism when people call Pau soft, yet Yao is Rockets royalty.

There's only two years left on his deal and he's not even that old. Durable big men who can score with their back to the basket and defend don't come around too often.

And you are just spouting an unsupportable opinion.

$$$$$$ plus his legacy of not being able to lead a team.

please take off the homer shades. you seriously think we would have beaten the lakers in round 1? the nuggets went 7 games with them and the nuggets are a better team than us.

his PPG in the regular season went down for starters, especially in the playoffs.
12 ppg and 9 rpg in the postseason for a guy who is supposely a top 20 player in the NBA is embarrassing too.

Are we talking about last year? I thought we were talking a trade for Gasol this year. The point I thought I was trying to make is that Gasol would improve next seasons roster immensely. And of course it is not impossible we would beat them last year. If I remember correctly every game we played LA last season was a dogfight.

Do you really understand the dynamics of why his points went down in last seasons playoffs? Do you need me to explain them to you?

Pau is softer than charmin, I'd take scola over 2 Paus. Don't need him, don't want him, can't win with him. No heart.

immensely? no way..like I said we would be a 6th-8th seed if we trade for him and a 1st round exit.

...you can't bring regular season matchups into this. teams play into matchups come playoff time and the lakers would exploit our weakness.

Pao for Scola + 14 + Dal. Pick. Then try to pry Josh Smith loose for hopefully Lowry + 16 + PPat. A frontcourt of Pao / JSmith / Dmo would be something to build around.

Dragic/ Llull or maybe FA like Kidd or Andre Miller

KMart / C lee (Trade one?)

    Parsons/ Bud

    JSmith/ Dmo

    Pao/ Dmo / Camby

Another opinion. NO facts or statistics or anything from the Gasol haters. Nobody goes through Gasol. He can be out quicked by SF's and SG's if he is mismatched. Really big centers can lower their shoulder on him, but it generally brings an offensive foul call.

Actually because Mike Browns ****ty offensive sets that mostly just have Pao setting picks and hovering around the FT line.

Atlanta does not need a PG. They need salary cap relief in the worst way. But I like your thinking very much.

    Starting lineup for next season:

    Dragic
    Lee
    Parsons
    Bosh
    Gasol

Miami loses to OKC, and then we manage to convert Lowry, Martin, Scola, Patterson and the 16th pick into Bosh and Gasol. Use 14th pick to draft a backup point guard.

Hell of a starting lineup. No bench though...

That 2. But I love Kobe's line of the last game. 30 shots 0 assists. That does say a lot right there.

I am not disputing that. I am just saying we were missing 2 of our best 3 players and if we had not worn down our guards we might have been in it.
