Weeds (SHO)

Somehow, someway, Kevin Nealon pulled off that noose scene perfectly - if it were anyone else, I would have been rolling my eyes instead of giggling nonstop.

 

Doug is one of the best characters on TV. Nealon has been doing a great job ever since the show started.

Andy is a great character as well.

I definitely see Conrad coming back into the picture.

 

If Conrad does come back, I'd be interested in seeing who Nancy ends up with - Conrad or Andy. I get the feeling her and Andy are going to "try" for an episode or two and realize they don't work. Could Conrad come back and pick up where they left off?

As long as Doug gets screen time and Justin Kirk's ass continues to get screen time, I'm happy.

 

so, i guess the season ended on monday.

anybody watch it? predictions for next season?

I thought Alanis was going to be the dead one. Little Nemo has really grown up.



With Weeds and Californication, Showtime gives younger actors incredible roles.

 

i was hoping nancy would die. i hate her.

 

just finished season 1 last night...way behind here

 

Watch 2 more seasons and then forget about the rest.

i got season 1 on blu ray as a random secret santa gift. i enjoyed it. downloading season 2 tonight. thanks for the heads up

 

No kidding, once they left the 'burbs, it has been downhill ever since. The greatest thing about the show, initially, was making fun of America. Now it's just freaking ridiculous.

 

glad I saw this. I'm halfway through S3 now (saw S1 years ago, S2 last year...just long breaks between)

def. might just ignore the rest if everyone agrees

 

i will probably watch the rest of the series, but it is unfortunately true - once they brought mexico into the mix, it became so much less enjoyable to watch.

 

And Nancy really turns super annoying by the 4th season.

Everyone would be so much better off if she was dead.

 

especially her kids...

I actually thought Season 3 blew and its been getting better since they moved to the beach. Sort of a reverse bell curve.

One > Two > Three < Four < Five

Then again, I like Shane as a psycho.

 

Yup. I gave up after the Mexico season. Never should have left Aggrestic (SIC?)

For a few years there, this was one of the better shows on television

 

As the series got worse, the main actress (I forget her name off the top of my head) had to get naked more and more often. Not bad for a 45 year-old.

That being said, the show is pretty uninteresting at this point.
