I actually have never smoked mar1juana. That being said, I see no reason that it should not be legal.
Not that I've had any personal experience with it, but that number you used is insane. I recall hearing of people going through an ounce a week, easily, and sometimes more back in the 1960's and '70's, but it was usually (not always) much less potent, so I was told. An ounce was $10 bucks for a very long time. Allegedly. And I never heard of anyone having "withdrawal symptoms." Ever. That includes those "more than an ounce a week" people. So I heard.
mar1juana effectively treats anxiety. If one gets used to regularly using it and then stops suddenly, it follows that anxiety might occur. As far as I know though, there are no known cases of physical withdrawal symptoms.
Me either. From everything that I have read, it is not physically addictive. Psychologically addictive, perhaps.
I just saw on the local news that some of the medical mar1juana shops here in Boulder have been giving out free samples, lol. They seem to be cracking down on it here, it is decriminalized here in the denver area and tons of medical mar1juana shops have been opening up, over 200 in the Boulder area alone I heard. The one across the street from my apartment is called Dr. Reefer (seems a bit strange for a supposed medical store ) The city council is trying to pass something tomorrow night that will charge a shop a $50,000 licensing fee to sell the stuff.
I think the results of this poll says all you would need to know about the opinions spewed in the D&D....
What do you mean, that most of us are realists who see that the War on Drugs is an abject failure whose very existence is a colossal waste of time and money?
I remember reading somewhere that since there are some psychoactive compounds in chocalate that it can become physically addictive.
This post reminded me of the anti-drug ad where it looks like there person is melted. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/HXnUZBD_qV4&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/HXnUZBD_qV4&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
When you get out of the water you need to dry off right away to avoid catchin' a cold. That's why <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Towelie">Towelie</a> says, 'Don't forget to bring a towel.'
It doesn't make sense that a perfectly natural plant is considered an illegal drug. Why? Tobacco and Alcohol KILL, weed doesn't. Either ban all three or allow all three.
Never in my life have I been more addicted to anything then cigarettes. Never in my life have I been more unable to function then when I was drunk. Never in my life have I been more bored then when I smoked weed. Women too.
Technically, if you want to count tobacco's carcinogenic properties as a "killer", mar1juana smoke has the same types of hydrocarbons. The pro and anti camps argue back and forth exactly how great that effect is relative to tobacco smoke, but I don't think there is any real argument that mar1juana smoke is non-carcinogenic.
I think they're all bad for you to be comppletely honest. And not only physical bad, but also spiritually bad as such thing are banned by Allah.
Black Mambas are perfectly natural too but I don't think anyone has a problem with banning owning or using them. I'm for legalization, regulation and taxation of ganja but I don't really get the natural argument.
