I think Beijing is a better choice for tourism, because Hongkong is just a metropolitan city and economic centre with skyscrapers, that you can see a lot in North America( New York for example ). But Beijing is quite different, it is a symbol of Chinese traditional culture and thousands years history. Especially such old architectures, are another style, like forbidden city is a ultimate luxury of Chinese monarches in the history, an embodiment of the power of empires, and not like European baroque buildings. That will imprint you an impelling impression.
As in China, in my personal opinion, things or resorts which worthy to visit is its historic architectures, cities and some picturesque scene comes from its diverse geological surface, canyons, plateaus, mountain ranges. I very recommend Beijing, Xi'an, Sichuan Province, Yunnan Province, and Xizang Province. If someday I married western girls, I will 100% take her a fantastic tour in China

You going to hate the dusty air especially during the sandstorm season.

You going to hate the food. Hongkong's food, yummy. Beijing's food, yuck.

You going to hate the public toilets.

You see great wall, forbidden city on the history channel. You taste the food in person.

    You see sckscrapers in Manhattan
    You see bays in Caribbean
But you see great wall and forbidden city in Beijing
And you see terra-cotta warriors in Xi'an

Actually I am not a Beijingnese, but I do not think Chinese Northern food is yuky. And I do not think anybody Hongkongnese should derogate Beijing the capital of China. Indeed, Beijing duck is perfect, China gets four system of food, each has different flavor and all exotic and delicious

What the hell are you talking about? Hong Kong's food has got nothing on Beijing food. You've probably just never been to a good restaurant.

    Right!
Good Chinese food includes three elements: color, good smelling and taste.
Without anyone of the three, that is not the native Chinese food.

Furthermore, every Chinese food has its own story.

Been very busy these 2 days. Had not time to translate the long interview by Titan Sports as I promised. Let's see if I can use this coming Sunday for it.

Anyway, some photos of Shaq in his 1-day visit of Chengdu on August 16.

Now it seems that there are more and more young people in China like go to KFC.

When i was watching TV last night,I heard some reports about O'neal. He's very lovely on TV,and he said he hopes there are 7 games between he and yao,5 in China,1 in Houston and 1 in Miami.
"Do u kill him(yao)"a journist asked.
    "NO,he is my brother"O'neal answered.
"Who will win the game?"a journist asked.
    "me"he answered immediately.

In Chengdu, he told the reporters that he wishes Yao Ming will give birth to lots of lots of kids, as he himself got lots of lots of kids. He said then their sons could play basketball together when they grow up. Or if Yao Ming gets a daughter, then he said he won't mind encouraging his sons to court her, such that he and Big Yao can become in-laws. :D :D :D
