RP, To verify MacLean's contract just look at one of the various salary sources on the net ie. Davo's salary page, Patricia Bender's page etc. I heard Rich and Kenny talking about MacLean, and they said he would be on the cap THIS summer not in 2001. Their figure that they calculated did not include any type of salary dumping like Walt Williams. That is the whole key here, if the Rockets want to make a play for Webber, they will have to dump some salaries starting with Walt Williams. In reference to Webber's comment about playing at home-in his case he has a lot of old friends in Detroit he's stayed close with-said more than once that he "hangs out in the 'hood" when he goes back to visit-also he's very close w/his family which isn't bad by any means but could be distracting. ------------------
