What I enjoy is how the Sixers' King always denies his players being bandied about in trade talks.

"Trade C-Dub? NEVER! He's the foundation, the bedrock, the cornerstone..."

"I'll give you Jalen Rose and Mo-Taylor's expiring contracts for Webber."

    "SOLD!"

To score when game is on the line, you need to have the ball in your hand for at least some little time, so you can feel the grip.

If the Knicks traded for Webber then we would HAVE to dump Howard on NY too!!!

Jalen Rose, Webber, Howard all on the same team again.......

I'd have jumped at Richardson/Taylor/Rose in a heartbeat. It's worlds easier to move medium money deals (and shorter ones) than an out-and-out albatross earning almost the highest salary in the league. If you have an out, TAKE THAT OUT. King is such a terrible GM.

Which is exactly why Geoff Pietre of the Kings moved Webber for Kenny Thomas/Brian Skinner etc. He saw Webber was on the downside and wanted to move him for smaller parts.

So, you think that team with AI, Webber, Igoudala, Korver which doesn't make the playoffs puts zero guilt on Iverson?

    no
    However
you make it sound like he is the reason for all the sixer woes
You make it sounds like he the reason they don't have a championship
Would that team have made it with out Iverson?
The Sixers without Iverson is a lotto team
