DD is always on and never has to reload it. Firefox gave me too many memory blowouts, Chrome never does. Chrome + Privoxy FWIW
Chrome has Ad Block too now that works great. Ad Block for Chrome link You do need Google Chrome (BETA) to use extensions but it runs great.
I use firefox and love chrome but I can't go without my add ons. I use chrome as a default for email links because its fast but my firefox is custimized with every app, bookmark I need. Plus its got a Rockets skin
I've got 2 Macs and I don't even have safari on my dock. Mozilla's add ons and Chrome's quickness = PWN everything else.
So other people can't see your history. Say you've been looking at p*rn, and you don't want your GF to know, you can just go incognito instead of deleting the history after the fact. This is even more effective if you have to immediately close the window and don't have time to delete the history.
Yeah, that's the name of the extension. Whenever one of your accounts gets new mail, it has a pop up notification and the icon has an unread count on it. You click on the icon and it will immediately open the account with unread mail in it. Soooo convenient in so many ways. I forgot to mention you can also add a whole bunch of other accounts, like Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.
I remember first being introduced to FF years ago on this site, and still use it today. Compared to Chrome it's slower, feels more bloated, but can't live w/o some of FF's add-ons (downthemall d/l manager and "mouse-over" translation tools) now. Also like FF's customizable bookmark bar, which I don't think you can do in Chrome. If only they could make it faster and hang less...
Interesting... given google's monetization model, it'll be interesting to see if google allows that extension to continue when extensions are added to non-beta chrome.
Hmmm, so this would even work at work if say you weren't supposed to be on ClutchFans. hahaha How do you do this in each of these browsers?
I only use chrome because I am ludicrously lazy when it comes to search and I like the fact that I can just type whatever I want into the URL bar and it'll do google search for me. I know other browsers can do that too and they usually have another separate search bar next to the main URL bar, but chrome's URL bar does it the fastest.
Click on the wrench on the right of the toolbar and choose open new incognito window. It won't hide you from your works server or web detection software.
I went to Chrome when it came out and I've never gone back. I love the simplicity and the efficiency.
Chrome. Firefox has some ****ty memory issues. Also, I fully made the jump when some huge issues started to pop up between firefox and facebook. <br> But how would you watch pr0n??
