Still Firefox. I'm waiting for an extension similar to WebMail Notifier so I can switch to Chrome. It continually checks multiple gmail accounts and lets you know when you have new mail. It only takes 2 clicks to switch gmail accounts so you don't have to do the logout/login thing. It's invaluable for me right now.
I have ran into a few sites that don't support Chrome. It isn't often though. I use Chrome the most. Followed by Firefox. I never use IE, unless forced to. Who the heck voted Opera? I didn't even know it was still around.
switched to firefox a while back....but then it started getting very s l o w. So I've been using chrome the last couple of months and it seems a bit better.
Chrome. Once you use it, you can't go back. I've never had chrome crash or freeze or take forever like IE did. It's great and I love it.
IE8. I was using firefox for awhile, but it really made no difference in my browsing experience whatsoever. And, I don't like have multiple apps installed to do the same thing, so I uninstalled firefox and switched back to IE.
When I switched to a Mac I started using Safari, thinking that Safari would be more fluid and seamless with "the mac environment." But maybe that was a mistake. Do other Mac users prefer Firefox/Chrome over Safari? Is it still as seamless with other apps as Safari?
Any opinions on Chrome for Mac? I've been using Firefox for years. StumbleUpon and AdBlock are really my only reasons for continuing to do so. I really like Safari 5, and AdBlock is available for it, but no Stumble, and no 3-finger up/down swipe to get to the top/bottom of the page, which irritates me to no end. Apple came up with the multi-touch idea and haven't implemented it. Guess I'm too used to FF, but I like it.
On my Windows computers, I generally use Chrome. Sometimes, I'll use Firefox if Chrome is giving me issues. On my Mac, I always use Safari.
Ctrl + Shift + N ftw. Sometimes I go incognito for no reason at all. I just like seeing Sherlock Holmes there in the corner, knowing he has my back.
