American drivers are some of the worst drivers I've seen. I mean they drive orderly, but when anything out of the ordinary presents itself on the road, American drivers usually panic. If you have spent any time driving in a third world country, you will see real driving skills.
I could have easily stayed home, but because it's tax season, I really didn't have much of a choice, I had to come in. The downside was the fact that I had to sit in my car for 45 minutes letting it warm up and melt the ice before I came in. Pugs
Hmn, remembering Italy, everyone thought of himself as a Formula One driver. But the driving was actually okay overall. Here in the States? Idiotic drivers. My wife is from Brazil, where the overall state of driving is fairly shabby, and she says I'd never survive living in Sao Paulo (not that this is happening any time soon). She does a fairly good impression of me as a driver: "What the F***?" "Are you kidding me?" "MOVE it, dip***t!"
I got to the office and nobody is here. My supervisor was supposed to give me a heads up. Oh well. I did lose control in the neighborhood trying to eat a taquito. Good times. I'm in the office alone now. Debating whether to drive home or take a nap.
i'm so sick of dumb btches at the office b****ing about the cold... enough talk about the cold... it's only 27, get over it
I would prefer driving in 2-3 inches of snow instead of black ice. Snow is easier to drive on than ice. There is absolutely no traction with All-season tires. The Houston roads are more dangerous than Dallas, because of more black ice than snow.
