I've just gone from our -5 at home in Minnesota to 90+ and 90% humidity in Brazil. Considering I won't be able to hit any beaches, I'll be missing that -5 in the next few days.
OMG is this really news? They are driving a car down I45. Come on channel 2, you're better than that!
Although they don't hit the hot asphalt too often, I do tend to drive 2000+ miles on them every year in very hot conditions.
The upper low that's been around the Big Bend area is beginning to make its move. At a point now where it can begin to bring in Gulf moisture.
Neat, thanks for the info. I see it's started to snow more in TX. This is from Baytown, Texas http://www.weather.com/outlook/videos/iwitness-literally-ice-cold-tap-water-19570#19570 Tap water in sink freezing as it comes out of the tap.
Had a little sleet about 30 minutes ago in Round Rock. Saying the same thing as Houston...snow starting around midnight and continuing into the morning. Might get to make a snowman in the morning...
From what I've heard... it'll get over us around midnight... some spots wont start until late into the overnight hours (Harris, Fort Bend, etc.) while other spots like the coastal counties (Galveston, Brazoria, etc.) will get freezing rain starting at midnight. It will last until around 8 am, then it's just a matter of when it moves out of the area (which is projected to be by noon Friday). Friday morning? For sure. Afternoon? Probably not.
Saw a couple flurries to the west of you in cedar park right after dinner around 9. Kids are hoping for a delayed start to school again tomorrow.
I was looking at my car to see if there was any snow fall. It looked like there was stuff on my car, so I went outside to look. It was wet. It was rain! Where is my damn snow.
