That "100+" **** ain't the same **** as Houston. Try adding Houston humidity and a drought of a month or two on top of that and we'll see how long you last.
Nicely done. Watching the news earlier... I think there is a bit of an overreaction at IAH. 200+ flights cancelled at IAH and most don't get rescheduled till Tuesday. I'm all for staying safe, but there's a bit of an overreaction among folks here.
Do they have enough equipment for de-icing the planes? If not it would seem dumb to cancel them after all the passengers get to the airport.
Them being jackasses has nothing to do with whether or not they can handle heat.....it has everything to do with them thinking the entire planet revolves around them. So thanks for the compliment, champ.
So then I guess you aren't big on the "self-love", huh?? Man, this weather's got everybody feeling pretty cranky.....
They said they've already de-iced the runways with standby trucks on the side of the runways. So, It looks like they have enough equipment... they're just taking precautions.
I think the planes use different equipment. Did they move up all of the predictions? Seems like now they are talking about the majority of the sleet coming early tonight and the slow coming after midnight.
It will start out with some sleet, the further north you are the more likely it will be all snow from the beginning.
Not in the general Houston area. It seems that the sleet will be coming from the coastal counties first (which hasn't changed) but the general Houston area is supposed to get drenched after midnight with sleet/snow (they said overnight hours). Then the most chance of precipitation is supposed to be between (5-8 am) so rush hour will be the most effected. Then finally all of it leaves the general Houston area by noon Friday.
