This cracks me up, too. Like when I'm on car forums and people are talking about what tires they need for winter. That's got to suck. Or when they talk about their rims getting shot by bad roads or worry about corrosion from salt and everything else they pour on roads to combat snow/ice. Again, I love cold, but the North can keep the ice and their multiple sets of tires.

Made it home, nothing fell on me.

Now I'm bundled up and barricaded in my apartment.

    Bring on the snow!

Tell her to drive through a winter storm in Houston with all the unprepared roads. She'll be the p***y then.

The problem with heat waves in chicago from when i was living there wasn't the high 80's/high 90's temparatures making it uncomfortable outside. The real problem was that those heatwaves tend to cause a lot of fatalities, mostlly among the poor/elderly, who often live in high floor, poorly ventilated, A/C-less apartments in brick and concrete buildings that are built to trap and retain heat in the winter and turn into ovens in the summer.

Right, and I think we all understand that. The problem is Northerners NOT taking into account that as unprepared as they are for the heat, that's EXACTLY how unprepared WE are for the cold. So it's utter jackassery to call us p*****s because nobody wants to kill themselves on icy roads that have not been salted.....but then again, they are Northerners. Jackassery pretty much comes with the territory for them.

Yankees could prepare for heat by owning a 100 dollar window AC window unit. Our power plants pipes cannot be fixed so easily.

So are we expecting hail tonight that will jack up my car or not? If so I might not go out.
