My girlfriend thinks I'm weird because I told her she can't wear blue jeans to the Jazz game because tonight, blue is a Jazz color. Reasonable or no?
If you told her to wear a mini skirt instead, then I salute you. Otherwise you are weird......I see tons of people at Rockets games with jeans and a red shirt. As long as you have some red, who cares about the jeans?
Jeans are ok. When you're in the stands you can't really see much of each others' pants anyways. Not to mention blue jeans are so common (unless it's some flamboyant pair w/ Jazz patches on it). Not to mention she'll be pissed off at you when she sees a whole bunch of other people wearing blue jeans and Rox gear (guaranteed). 'Everyone else is wearing them, didn't I tell you?' Save yourself the hassle.
Blue jeans are fine to wear against any other team except the Mavericks or Jazz in my opinion...but if she wants to wear jeans tonight they better be red or GTFO...
i dont think its outlandish to ask someone not to wear blue jeans to the game as long as they are wearing a rockets t shirt or jersey or red body paint up top. i think most people wear jeans to games anyway now if she wanted to wear a blue top I would totally understand you flipping out on her
My wife has blue eyes. I told her she better keep her eyes closed at the game tonight or else ........
Jeans are acceptable, but I certainly don't think you are out of line for asking her not to if she has something else to wear. I only watch the Rockets in Atlanta, and the colors are similar, especially when I wore my old school jersey.
