I wear it backwards sometimes at school in colorado to keep my head warm when it is not sunny. I don't like wearing a ski type hat cause my glasses get in the way.
Only time I wear my hat backwards is when I'm playing golf and it begins to rain. I do it, to keep the rain away from my face/yes.

I can tolerate someone wearing their hat backwards more than to the side like Flavor Flav or even worse, Juan Pierre, Dontrelle Willis, and *gulp* CC Sabathia.
i will give people a pass until the age of 21...after that its ridiculous. It's still ridiculous before that, but at least you have immaturity and youth as an argument. There is an exception for rappers, but only if you get paid for rapping and not just consider yourself to be one. There are certain times it is acceptable but only in during the duration of that activity, e.g. driving a boat (obviously you wouldnt want you hat to blow away). In general though, i'm not a big fan of baseball caps. When I was a teenager i w**** them constantly but now i look at them like i do sweatpants...it just says, "i give up so i'm going to throw this on my head". For those that argue about keeping the sun off the back of your neck... So you are concerned more about your neck burning then your face? If you want sun protection, don't wear a baseball cap.

I don't wear hats much anymore, but I'm more likely to wear it backwards or sideways than forwards. I'll turn it forward only when the sun on my face is an actual problem.
