We need to reel off about 6 or 7 straight to think about playoffs. We suck and we lose games we shouldn't. We need to trade Scola and Battier to make room for PPat and Williams at the very least.

I'm telling you now, if you get rid of Hayes, Battier, or Scola you will see this team drop faster than the Twin Towers.

Utah has lost 13 of their last 17 games, now only 5 games above .500, and that was before they just traded away their franchise player and lost their HOF coach.

Denver just traded away their franchise player and second best player for a couple role players.

The Rockets just completed one of the tougher schedules in the league with the rest of the way being much much easier.

Look, I don't expect people here to all be Nostradamus or Einsteins, but to say the Rockets have NO chance at the playoffs... you are either ignorant or stupid, plain and simple. Arguing whether that is a good thing or bad is another thing altogether, in fact another stupid or ignorant argument.

Losing sure brings those qualities out of people.

Well we have more talent than last year without any doubt... our record is worse. Coming in to this season (even not counting Yao as factor), I saw us being in playoffs.. not 4 games out of it. We definitely blew games being lazy. We played crap against Minessota at home.. and then Phi at home.

This team does not win games that should be won... and then they win some hard games to show that they are good... Only if they had won, sure winss, they would be above .500 and we would have been appreciating them.

Not making them unless we make a trade. I don't see this group making a push and even if they do, they are going to be killed.

We need a decent center. And we need to find a person who can close. And we need plays that puts heart out when others are sleeping.

Gotta solve some of that stuff to have a chance.

If we make a decent trade or so, do we have chance to make a run? Absolutely. With Denver losing big players, Utah losing D-Will, Rudy gay out for Memphis and Portland's tough schedule, ANY thing can happen. All it takes is a good winning streak. But again, I would love to see them go for it only if they make decent trade.

I like this post compared to a lot of the nonsense people spew...Morey is a failure, Thabeet is better than Battier, blah blah blah.

    Nice work, OP.

It's just familiar territory. Rocks win two in a row and all of a sudden they have heart. Come back two games from now and you might say burdensome rockets, burdensome Rick.

We have played lazy and uninspired basketball this season, compared to years past.

I'm thinking Scola. Resilient, perseveres, heart. Actually, it could be Chuck Hayes. He fits the description and is known to have great hands both in post defense and now down low on offense

While I'm happy with the wins, let's be honest, it was the Pistons and Cavs.

Let's not start patting each other on the back.
