I agree the Rockets have shown themselves to be unprofessional in handling T-Mac, it is a shame too after NBA players took notice when we took the Lakers to 7 games last year.

I HIGHLY doubt any big name Free Agent will want to sign with this team.

This may be the single most unintentionally funny thing I've ever seen posted here at CF. Wow.

Don't forget Von Wafer! We destroyed his value so much he had to go to Europe, then when he quit there and we tried to resign him, we broke his back!

So are all you people who tried to shout me down going to come back and apologize? Anyone who thinks we win more games this year giving minutes to Ariza instead of Tmac is a clueless. Who is going to sign with us after this debacle? We made a 25ppg scorer sit on the bench out of vindictiveness.

No, but Im leaning towards banning you from the GARM since you obviously dont care about the Rockets. You need to hangout in the Dish and talk about all those awesome players that don't want to come here.

Wait, so you're going to ban me because I want the Rockets to win a title instead of mistreating their players and trading the best two on the squad for a collection of scrubs?

So now that we are not on Chris Bosh's list, I was wondering if anyone wanted to reevaluate their criticisms. Some posters have already come over to my way of thinking, that we shouldn't have mistreated our elite hi-kwality athletes.

This is incredibly disappointing. I wanted very much to be wrong and have us get Chris Bosh. Yao/Bosh/Martin/Brooks/Ariza on paper looks like a championship team. Sure, it would have gone up in smoke like it always does with Yao and Kmart not even playing 80 games combined, leaving us in the 50-55 win range like we always get, but at least there would have been that certain "hope" at the start of the year where we can credibly pretend that we have a shot at the title.

Well, given your point was made initially because we were mean to T-Mac, only for him to show in New York that he really was washed up..............

Tmac had a bad coach in NY who did not use him to his potential. He needs to be paired with JVG.

Thank you. I needed a laugh.

You and TMac can report to the Chuckle Hutt about now.
And do it during the day before it becomes the Laugh Spot

Here's a few reasons why players would want to sign with Houston.

    1) No state personal income tax.
    2) Chinese exposure. Role players earn China marketing deals.
    3) Mature basketball system where role players earn minutes.
    4) Owner with a commitment to spend.
    5) Home to many nba players in off season.

Younger and top-tier players can be more fickle but you can consistently see experienced players hint that Houston is a team they would play for. Like a Camby or Miller for instance. I'm sure there's more, but those are two examples off the top of my head.

I bring that up, b/c experienced players have been around the block, know what's good what's bad, what you can live with, what you can live without. I value their feedback.
