It's too early to say they will or they won't. I will be happy with 45 wins, but that might not be enough to reach the playoffs. This team can win 50, if a few unnamed players would play team ball. We could be as bad as 35 wins, if the selfish play remains.
Ok, after the pains last couple of the days, Rox show up in the rest of the season as the one we see in the Spurs game, I will say yeah Rox has pretty darn good chance for a play-off spot, maybe the #4 spot. If tthey show up like the one in last two games, I bet whatever I have on tthat Rox wont make the play off, also mark my words. I wouldnt take it for granted that this Rox team will take the right direction, coz we have very cocky, sturbbon player in this team, and we know who he is.
This team almost made the Playoffs two years ago even with guard oriented offense. Now we finally have a defensive, rebounding big Man with post moves, we will make it.
We might end up as 7th or 8th seed in next April. Or we will not make it to playoff at all. We will have two all stars this year at Ming and Stevie. But this dual is just not close to ShARK and ShowBee yet. Guys, face the reality if you live on earth.
talents doesn't mean get to playoff, just look at memphis! if we can just keep playin' ball the way we played kings and 76ers the other nights, make it to playoff will be a sure thing. but if SF don't pass the damn ball like last 2 nights, it'll be hard to tell r we gonna get to playoff or not.
I am? We've played: Sacramento twice San Antonio Indiana Dallas LA Lakers Phoenix Portland Philadelphia New Orleans Seattle Those are some pretty difficult opponents.
I think we will make the playoff. Our record is not great but if you compare how we play now with how we play at the beginning of the season, we have definitely improve. We still had some moments when the guard revert back to their iso game but I think with time they will eventually get it out of their system (hopefully). When that happen the Rocket should win on a more consistent basis and that should get us in the playoff. If you look at all the playoff contenders in the West (with the exception of the Kings due to their injuries), the Rockets probably will be the team that improve the most as the season continue. With our players getting used to playing with each other, we should be good enough to get into the play off.
nothing is guaranteed... look at clips...they have tons of talents....yet they have worse standing than us also,,,,,it's tough to make playoffs in the West
I would hate to see what ppl would say about Rudy if we didnt make the playoffs. I still dont think they would fire him though. I think he still has one more season regardless of what happens.
I see the same problem that the Rockets have had for years. They show up to play the good teams, but seem to take the easy teams for granted. Any team in this league can beat you. Maybe thats just the way I see it though.
I hope the Rockets do make the playoffs but in order for them to get far they still need to consider a trade for a PF. I don't like the current PF's. We need a carbon copy of OT.
The reality that I see is that Steve and Yao don't have to be close to Kobe and Shaq to win a championship. Their supporting cast is significantly better. There's a reason the game is 5 on 5 and not 2 on 2.
