Agreed, Terry is useless on the court if he isn't hitting the three ball. This team is so close it hurts, but just one more playmaker.

Definitely think we could use another playmaker. It's probably a luxury at this point though.

I tend to think a line up like D-Mo, Jones, K-Pap, Brewer and Canaan can create enough offense to sustain us when Harden sits.

I've come around: bring on the Dragon, Beverley is playing poor lately and other than hustle and 3pt shot he's useless. He can come off the bench and if that in his mind is demotion, thus leaving the Rockets, so be it!

We will still need someone else to break down defenses in the playoffs.

Why would you play him as a back-up? That makes no sense. He'd fix our offensive issues in a heartbeat.

One of the reasons Brewer's +/- is so high is that he's the only player on this team besides Harden that can drive the lane. Imagine what someone like Dragic could do for us.

I do think that if we trade for Dragic, we need to add a pick and pop PF to this team. Dragic was at his best last year with Channing Frye running along the 3 point line. Would also do wonders for Dwight.

As a side note...really wish we had picked Dragic over Lin and kept Patterson (yes.....I know we had to trade him to sign Dwight). This team would be lethal.

    Dragic / Bev
    Harden / Terry
    Ariza / Brewer
    Patterson / Smith
    Howard / DMo

The more I watch the team the more I realize how much of a fit Dragic would be here. He would not be relied on as the 3rd guy. I wouldn't trust him to take on a bigger workload in the playoffs either. But as a role player he adds a lot of what we need.

Great post, when WOJ reported morey was going to see Lowry I stated in that thread he should come home with Patterson & Lowry and call it a night. We needed a PG and a BIG that could shoot. Both guys are taking care of business, they weren't too flashy then but minor upgrades & needs.

Stein reported BASS was second pick after brewer with lin TPE. I wish there was a way he could've got BASS & BREWER here

John Wall had 13pts last nite lol. Would you rather have Dragic starting scoring 19pts a game, but allowing WB, CP3, Wall, Parker & Lillard get 25pt & 13 assist. Or Bev scoring around 10pts and holding those elite PG's to under 15 points? I'm sorry, I'm taking defense over offense in this case. Holding those elite pg's to subpar performances is our ONLY ticket out the 1st round.

Bev will still get plenty of time guarding the other team's top PG. We would stagger Bev/Dragic/Harden's minutes and probably go small ball often with Harden playing SF.

Nothing wrong here. But starting Dragic will allow WB, CP3 & Lillard to get off to hot starts. Once they get rolling there ain't to stopping those guys. I'd rather let Bev start, and bring Dragic off the bench

Starting Dragic guarantees that one of Harden/Dragic will get off to a hot start as well. We will win that battle 80%+ of the time.

I'm not sure if that's realistic. I don't see Dragic going off like that against the likes of Westbrook, Lillard or CP3. On the other hand, I do see ALL the elite point guards putting up ridiculous numbers against Dragic. If those guys get off to hot starts we have very little chance of winning (especially in the postseason). The offensive contribution Dragic brings most likely won't be as significant against the elite point guards anyway. You guys seriously overrate Dragic

Would not trade DMo for Dragic straight up, let alone with any other asset. The NO pick and Knicks pick plus Papa and Shved for salary matching should be the most we offer. NO pick looks like it will be either #13 or #14 in the draft.
