MJ is doing a pretty good job out there because he has shown that he is up to par with the offense in practice. Steve will stay on the bench as long as he is out of shape and doesn't show any kind of improvement wrt picking up the offense as quickly as the other guards have. You guys can chant whatever you want, but I trust RA's judgment about Steve's present capabilities, not his former two time all-star status (which can be attributed to Yao's people).

    Get over it.

    sorry,
this was not as dramatic as when the Summit crowd was yelling "WE WANT RALPH" vs the Celtics in the NBA Finals.

    hmmm....

Sampson's promising yet unfulfilled career = Francis' promising yet unfulfilled career thus far

nice for you to point that out

Some guys should realize one thing, it is SF3 himself disappoints you guys, not coach A, not anyone else! Rockets is paying him millions of dollars, and fans are waiting for seeing his play. But, he didn't keep himself in shape! In fact, he should feel guity.

<== those superstars you named were already in the twilight years of their careers.. kinda like where shaq is now... you expected a fat and old charles barkely to lead the rockets? you expected an old, injury prone center like the dream to lead us? how about scottie quitten? you said it yourself.. "quitten" of course your probably gonna make the arguement that pippen quits houston because of steve francis  ..hmm who else.. glen rice?? are u kidding me? glen rice's knees were so bad even mutombo could have crossed him back then... so technically my friend, Steve had no choice but to be the man... Even sir charles said so back in the days... and by the way.. steve francis was released by portland because of a condition/agreement with the knicks that portland would buy him out.. u can check it out if u want...

I guess you don't know what that chant meant..

Let me educate you about one of the most dramatic crowds in Rockets history. why they chanted "WE WANT RALPH"

Game 5 was marred by a fight between Sampson and Sichting. With a little more than three minutes gone in the second period, the Houston forward and Boston guard got tangled up over the ball. They exchanged words, which led to Sampson throwing punches, one of which struck Dennis Johnson in the left eye when he attempted to break things up.

The outburst resulted in Sampson's ejection. But rather than fold, the Rockets found motivation in the incident. They got inspired backup play from Petersen, and Olajuwon put on a grand show with 32 points, 14 rebounds and eight blocks. The Rockets won 111-96, and the series stood in Boston's favor at 3-2.

Steve Francis is not selfish We could've had two wins against the Lakers in the playoffs only if Jim Jackson hit that shot. There's proof steve can be a team Player and trust his teammates. And to the person who named all the players he played with he didn't play with Scottie because it was during that time we traded him to the blazers. I think most Rocket fans just want to see Steve Francis people mostly remember how exciting it was when he was here.

Both you and StupidMoniker are wrong about one thing.

Francis never played on the same team with Scottie Quitten. He was drafted 1 year after Pippen left the team. I am sure about this...

    yeah he did.

Eldridge Recasner started, Sam played most of the minutes off the bench.

    Kenny sat on the bench.

Well, not quite. Pippen was still on the team when the Rockets traded for Steve, but he went crying to Rudy T to be traded just before the start of training camp.

what i liked about the chanting was that atleast the crowd was involved, instead of not paying attention.

what also made me happy is when we chanted we want steve, mike james made a basket.

that also made me happy, because hopefully, that kicks Mike James game up another notch.

Of course I knew what the chant meant. I was just blatantly ignoring the point of your post and twisting it into a joke, it's called sarcasm lol. Thanks for the lesson though, somehow I knew you were going to post it anyways, so I'm guessing you know Ralph's cup size also...

You should also know that the Boston Garden held up signs that said "Sampson Is A Sissy" and he wasn't a factor for the remainder of the series. And also Sampson was never the same after he fell on his head on that famous court.

PS. Kenny Smith = Rafer Alston these days...really shoudn't be starting because backup is better but is even more worthless coming off the bench, so lesser of 2 evils. Oh and Kenny sucked azz...

Kenny would get a standing Ovation if he shows up at Toyota Center. There should be a Kenny day.
the crowd would be yelling "KENNY KENNY KENNY!"
