I think chanting "quitter" to tmac is a much better idea.

The guy is a talent but what makes he think he can just quit the game like that when he's payed millions a year with us fans supporting him. I am so tired of his attitude.

I actually like this idea. I'm a huge T-Mac fan but I think chanting "quitter" while he's shooting FT's would be good. This should wake him up a little bit, piss him off and hopefully pick up the slack.

People are forgetting that JVG was not the answer.

Adelman may not be either, but until the team actually TRIES to play his way they will continue to struggle.

Tmac has proven that he when the going gets tough, Tmac folds.

I am seriously thinking the team should look at trading him.

I'm tired of you wanna-be NBA experts who always blame the coach. How bout blaming the players for once? A great team starts with its best players. Remember how Olajuwon led by example. You could never question his effort night in and night out. Furthermore, his game was always improving. I've backed T-Mac through all of his back problems. Mostly, because I've had back problems myself. The last 2 games for TMac were horrible. He basically showed no intelligence or will in the 2nd half of the Raptors game. He followed it up by not coming out with a slightly turned ankle tonight. After he turned the ankle, he still was able to run down to the other end and get what I thought was a legit block. How then can you explain him not returning for the 2nd half? Would he have returned if we were up or if the game was nationally televised or if he had scored 25 in the 1st half? As for Yao, I don't question his work ethic but I do question his desire to dominate night in and night out. Sometimes he looks like he wants to be great and sometimes he looks like he wants somebody to bail him out. He continues to make the same mistakes he's made from day 1. He holds the ball too long. He brings the ball down to his waist instead of keeping it up where it's harder to knock loose. He runs directly under the basket for rebounds (the only balls that end up under the basket are made baskets). He doesn't have 2 hands up for rebounds allowing defenders to tie him up and causing him to play volleyball instead of grabbing the ball with both hands. He telegraphs his passes. I could go on and on. But please, please stop blaming our coaches. Adelman and JVG both took teams to finals. They're records speak for themselves. They are revered by players and NBA executives alike. This is about the players, not the coaches. I love to watch T-Mac, at times. I also love Yao's work ethic. However, both of them need to take a good look in the mirror, instead of pointing fingers.

You are forgetting that this was never proven.

JVG was a GREAT coach for the team. It's a shame we cut him short. A JVG team with the addition of Luis Scola, Mike James, and Aaron Brooks would have been interesting to see.

This is hell a good idea. This will get the message delivered to the management, and it might force RA to think the situation again and play some D JVG left. Plus, I love Jeff. Do it, please do it. Too bad i'm not in houston, but I would LOVE to see or hear it on TV. :D

Battier is a major problem on any team not coached by Van Gundy. I'd have settled for Roy, Rudy Gay or Sefalosha. Battier is among the most over-valued Rockets ever. I have doubts he'll be here next season now that it's finally obvious what little he brings to the table besides the flopping...er...charges. Case closed.

He was hardly a GREAT coach.

Biggest playoff loss in team history, choked game 7 at home last year, blew not one but two 2-0 series leads.

He worked hard, but was not the answer, and he will not be back.....

Maybe Adelman isn't the answer either, but he deserves some time to find out.

And he needs the team to buy in because right now, they are not doing that.

JVG sucks and he is what got us down to this level by trading all the young talent for expired stinky New York players.

you guys suck as fans quitting 4 weeks into the season after giving Van ***** 4 years with the team with no results.

How many times did we blow 20-30 points leads in the 3rd quarter?

I agree Adelman needs some more time. But it is pretty ugly right now. We are over 25% done with this season and this team has no identity or focus.

As far as the playoff losses, it could be easily argued that the Rockets just lost to better teams.

I blame those losses squarely on TMac. Watch the tape. He choked like a 2nd round virgin down the stretch in games 6 and 7 vs Utah. He chocked in games 3 and 4 vs Dallas in 05. TMac is a brokeback/broke-elbow/broke-ankle for life.

I believe so as well. JVG would have so much more talent this year.

With JVG, we would still be playing INSIDE-OUT. Mike James and Scola would help with the OUT part of that equation and take pressure off Yao and TMac.

And forget Bonzi not liking JVG. Bonzi is a fat and worthless stat-padder. Snyder could play his role.

This team was ruined by JVG. We are sucking now due to what I would call "post-JVG syndrome". The Rockets are used to play JVG ball, which caused their inability to play a more open style offense right now.

JVG had his chances and he failed. That's the end of the story.

Oh, no doubt Tmac had a major hand in them, but he was not the sole reason.

Let's not get stupid!! JVG is not the answer for this team. The answer lies in Morey and Les making positive decissions to improve the team and the coaching
Morey by learning from his first year of mistakes[it will cost Les much money]hopefully will get rid of a few scrubs and deadbeats and get us a decent Point Guard and some athletic shooters who can put the ball in the basket.
They need to change their game plan from win now to win in three years of rebuilding and developing. They should have done this when Yao Ming joined the Rockets. If they had done so then we would have a youngish athletic team built with Yao as our center.
They need to have Calvin Murphy as the shooting and Free Throw Coach and Hakeem as the big man Coach.
Mario Ellie should have been made an assistant on the Houston Rockets team not Dallas! :p
