What a great idea! Let's tank the season less than 15 games into it for an inknown commodity! Not smart.

Hey bud, I did that for 43 games last season. I don't need you telling me what to do. I was completely against the "put in steve chants", and I am against these JVG chants too. But if these other people want to start these chants, they can go right ahead. Who am I to stop them? It's called deindividuation. People get drunk at games, and even if they aren't, people tend to join the crowd. If you're down double digits in the 4th and on the verge of a 3 game losing streak and piss poor start to the season after a tremendous offseason and outrageously bold marketing ploys, then fans probably won't be chanting "defense".

You guys are all morons. Don't you realize that this is a NEW offensive system and its not going to click 22 games into the season, it is going to take time, yes TIME something you all need to get into your head. When we struggle its fire Rick, but when we were 6-1 everyone praises him. whatevvsss

I'm down for Bringing Back Rudy. Hell, I think the fans should start a, "RUDY!" chant. He's perfect to coach two superstars.

I'm sick of this, it takes time. We here this too damn much. I thought the slogan was, "ITS TIME", not "IT TAKES TIME". 6-1 was so long ago. We have not yet looked that good since. We don't have to bring JVG back but our lack of success right now is due to the coaching. We played better last year with a worst team. All this talent and underachieving only points to one thing, coaching.

I don't remember many people praising him when we were 6-1.

I understand this is a new offensive system and it takes time, but defense wins in this league. We were the best defensive team in the league for 4 straight seasons. What happened to it?

How much longer for this system to click? I've seen very similar offense, if not worse, under RA.

I think you're in the Jon Barry thinking that it'll take 3 years for RA's system to be fully implemented. If that's the case, you can kiss all playoff hopes goodbye, because the West is too damn competitive and TMac only has 2 more years of greatness left in him.

    Let me clear this up.

Would I ever chant such a thing at a game? Never.

But I'll be watching the game on ESPN from up here. If we are down double digitz in the 4th, and I hear a chorus of these chants, it will probably make my night.

WOuld I like to hear it? No. It's a shame it's come to this. But once again, if we're getting blown out, at least I'll have something to keep me amused.

Watching this team sucks. Hearing those chants, and listening to JVG's reaction and watching what he does would be a sight to record.

first and foremost, no chant will ever get started unless the rowdies start it, and we will have no part in it.

guys PLEASE just chill..........look atleast we don't have a record like minnesota or seattle.

were at .500, and for first year coach, and the players getting used to this system....it's gonna take some time.

THOUGH!!! i do hope a trade comes......*COUGH* Jason Kidd *COUGH*

    Gundy cost us Brandon Roy

You must mean RUdy Gay. Gundy wanted Roy or Safalosha really badly.

Ain't gonna happen. The Rowdies are very well managed and they know the consequences of their actions. I would be very disappointed if something like that happened in the Rowdies section. If a chant like this happens, it'll come from the upper section. They're the ones who started the "put in Steve" and "Utah sucks" chants the past 2 years.

No. Gundy played Juwan Howard in a totally meaningless game which was won. By virtue of that win, the Rockets dropped from a tie with MINN and BOS for 5, 6 or 7 to a tie with GS by which they won the coin toss.

I grew way tired of "My way or the highway" Van Gundy. He's easier to digest on ESPN. Let him stay there.

True. But I look at it this way. We got Shane Battier. He's one of my alltime favorites. Case closed.
