This is exactly what Lin fans had to say about Mchale. Byron has gone to the finals twice. He just needs a strong pg to run his system. Lin is garbage and he is in a perfect situation right now with the Lakers. LA is not going to win the title anytime soon but they need to sell tickets and they can get money from overseas endorsements with Lin on the bench and appearing for a couple minutes a game.
he sounds like he is almost crying. not a big lin fan but i hope he finds an offense that fits him... whatever that is
This is a pretty damn classless thread. I had hoped this forum was above this. You might as well be a seven year old girl shouting nana-nana-booboo.
Parsons is dead to me. But I would not think highly about a thread such as this, posted in the GARM no less.
I think his question is "how did all that happen". Not "what is the mathematical reason we scored fewer points than them".
Of all the players we lost in the offseason (Asik, Parsons and Lin), I have no dislike for Lin or Asik. Honestly I hoped he would play well in LA, not to spite Houston for trading him but to keep the underdog story alive. Despite the fact the guy almost killed us in the playoffs by himself, the truth is the team as a whole did that. Our defense was just that bad. This kid went undrafted and was cut several times before he got his shot, and made the most of it. Say what you will about Linsanity, you are not a scrub if you can have a stretch like that against NBA talent. His only issue since then is that he is a victim of Linsanity and the pressure of that and I don't think he can ever live up to that again. But Ronnie Price over Lin in LA is unrealistic (IMO) and it is just Scott covering his ass to say he is trying SOMETHING. It won't work.
But props to Houston native and Clear Brook Alumni Ronnie Price for beating out "the best asian player in the NBA" for the starting role.
