Dang. Remember all the hype and speculation surrounding LeBron last Summer?

I'm sure glad he went to LAL instead. Too much drama. What are your thoughts looking back on the topic?

Stiil would have been fun to see Harden/CP3/LBJ on the floor together.

keep that same energy if the Rockets don’t win a title this year...winning a chip is the only way I’ll be cool with us missing out on Bron

He never considered us so the hype around here was always misplaced.

He definitely brings drama with him wherever he goes, but I'd still take him. He's that stretch 4 we badly need. The main on-court issue would be his awful defense 99% of the time.

Despite the fact that LeBron James is one of my favorite players in the league, I would have dropped the Rockets had he joined them this past summer.

Edited to add: I highly doubt that we get this Wilt-like performance from Harden if LeBron is here.

When that article posted with the "small list" of teams LeBron would consider... the BBS blew up. There was also speculation casually outside local media as well. Foolish to think money was ever an issue or concern.

Are u for real? No disrespect, but I really have to question u if u would have stopped being a fan of the team if they had added Lebron.

I wanted to sign him just so we coulda traded him to lakers at the deadline. Magic was soo desperate we coulda fleeced them.

Good thing Diva James went to LA to get a head start on his Hollywood acting career!
Terrible GM, terrible teammate, coach killer!
Mike D'Antoni would be out of a job, Daryl Morey might be out of a job
Imagine all the passive aggressive shots at Tilman, Harden, Daryl
He might have drove Harden out of here like he did Kyrie.
Can't even make the playoffs in the West. LOLOLOL!

Ideally, Harden would be the alpha dog here. LBJ would be his robin, along with CP3. What a crew that would be. Lebron may be slowing down as a #1, but he'd still be the best #2 player of all time on a team, right now.

However, everyone (media) is constantly forgetting that Lebron didn't go to LA to win. If he wanted to go somewhere to win, he had multiple options. He went to LA to try and produce shows and follow his delusions of being a world influencer.

Different situation with lakers. Lebron would’ve filled the much needed 3 spot. Rockets would be unguardable.

LeBron and Harden probably couldn't co-exist.

I'm surprised how well CP3 and Harden work together, but having three ball dominant players on the same team and all can justify dominating the ball?

You act like we would have won a ring with Bron lol.

I'm one of the biggest Lebron fans ever but something happened to him when he went back to Cleveland, his ego shot through the roof and his desire for control superceded his desire for winning. If he was still Miami Lebron you can make that work but he is old man Lebron now and his defense went from HOf level to below average.

Getting Lebron then would have meant trading away anybody who wasnt making vet min and a team like that wont win anything. Not to mention Lebron would push to trade Harden and Capela for AD before he even arrived.

They're all high IQ players. They would've figured it out same way Paul and Harden did.

LeBron just doesn't like the city, although Houston does do well.
