    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For other uses, see Idiot (disambiguation) and The Idiot.

An idiot, dolt, or dullard is a mentally deficient person, or someone who acts in a self-defeating or significantly counterproductive way. More humorous synonyms of the term include addlehead, blockhead, bonehead, deadhead, dimwit, dodo, dope, dummy, dunderhead, nincompoop, ninny, nitwit, numbskull, PeterKingX, stupidhead, thickhead, and twit, among many others. Archaically the word mome has also been used. The synonymous terms moron, imbecile, and cretin have all gained specialized meanings in modern times. An idiot is said to be idiotic, and to suffer from idiocy. A dunce is an idiot who is specifically incapable of learning. An idiot differs from a fool (who is unwise) and an ignoramus (who is uneducated/ an ignorant), neither of which refer to someone with low intelligence.

Championships are never guaranteed and we've seen super teams on paper fall apart before. The Heat look good on paper but we are going to have to see Lebron put his monstrous ego aside to actually win a championship.

That said with a healthy Yao we still match up good against the Heat as they are now.

    STAY HUMBLE, STAY HUNGRY..

I'm more optimistic than the OP. We'll have Yao back. On D, Jordan Hill will have Yao's back. Our young guys-- most of the roster-- will be better. We just need to make sure we get Scola and Lowry back, and add a back-up 5 (Miller?), and I like our chances against the Lakers in the Western finals. The Lakers' old men will try to push us around, but they'll have to catch us first. AB will run circles around them. Let's go Rockets!

we have ZERO cap space and as of yet no one has signed with a team that didnt have the cap space to sign them. you think its bad for us, imagine how chicago, new york, new jersey feel having so much cap space and signing who? chicago...boozer... new york .. amare..... if you are going to be so negative then why even bother posting just mail it in and buy nba tv and enjoy watching whatever else team you want to ..

I think the really scary part of the Heat is Wade. That guy is amazing and people forget what he did with an aging Shaq. When you put wade with lebron and bosh...

Wade is going to be the star here - not Lebron nor Bosh - they will be super-role players to keep defenses honest. Wade is going to lick his chops now - no one will be able to stop or double him. He's going to have a monstrous season.

You think Brooks or Lowry can stop him? no way. The Heat can win 60 games easily now, and even the Lakers will have trouble containing them. They can resign Shaq to get them a center and be fine in the half-court. Shaq going agianst the Lakers man - what a sight that will be. Kobe vs. Shaq for a ring haha.

If we wanna spoil the party, we'll need Carmelo Anthony. We need a prime-time star on the wing to open up the middle and the point for us. Kmart isn't the player to do that.

you know what, this guy's right, the Heat will be the most dominant team on the planet....IN NBA LIVE, that's the only place where that team will win a championship, they might be a good Regular Season team (before they start to implode), but when it comes down to the playoffs and ECF, they will not succeed. I hate Boston, but I would bet money that a healthy Boston would take out the Heat in 5 games, remember also, that Lebron and Bosh are choke artists, especially in the games that matter most.

According to Dan Gilbert Lebron only choked so that this would happen.

Much too early to be pessimistic about the Rockets' situation, PeterKingX. And why should we listen to you anyway? Your username (politician Peter King) refers to a person who called Michael Jackson a "rapist" and a "pedophile" with "no talent" just after he died.

You're counting on that Lebron is going to be willing to be a role player, even a super role player. This is the guy that wants his spot on history on him and he and his monstrous ego are going to be hard pressed to defer when the spotlight is on.

He doesn't want to Scottie Pippen to Wade's Jordan. He wants to be Jordan. Worse he thinks he deserves to be Jordan.
