Harden played very well in Game 6 and in Game 7. He is not a loser by any means. He deserves the regular MVP award. He is no longer a playoff failure in my eyes. GS had 4 all stars to our 1. If Chris didn't get injured, I'm sure the Rockets would have knocked GS out. I'm proud of James.

Go Harden! Go Houston Rockets! 2018-19 will be our year.

Don't bash anyone. Bruh I really understand how everyone feels I feel the same way but you guys have to chill with saying fck harden, Ariza, Capela. We live and breathe this **** but we aren't constantly sacrificing our mental and physical health. Always under scrutiny like the players. Year round they work and half the job is being away from family to focus. Look at Ariza and Gerald green they know they let us down because they put in all that work and came up short. They feel like it was all for not. Fans were not the only ones crying.

Harden did what he could. When everyone around you is playing like hot garbage it can be infectious. Needed 42 from him last night.

3-4 games in a row he kept jacking up those ill advised step backs.
He should have taken a mid range stepbacks which were his bread and butter before the step back threes.
Its like he fell in love with it or per morey instructions maybe who knows.
Morey will cut off his salary for every mid range shot he takes.
Shucks gotta mix it up beard.

Some redit poster said this disney was right to present a manchild that looks like a prepubescent boy who shoots 3s over a wannabe house bred bearded terrorist in the finals.

Going as fas as saying if harden doesnt cut his beard no team he play for will be given ticket to the finals.

    Foh foh foh foh

4 all stars still needed 3 refs to beat Harden's Rockets

    Even with historically bad shooting

    Enough said

I agree we shouldn't be bashing Harden. But let's be honest; we needed him to play really well in the playoffs to win a championship and he didn't. He found ways to contribute on defense and he got to the basket a bunch, but his shooting was terrible and he committed a lot of turnovers.

So, while we should not bash the guy who got us there, there is no denying that if he played better we would be in the finals right now.

Fortunately he's still young and he'll have more chances to step up and write a new narrative. But make no mistake about it; the rockets should have won the Golden State series and most of the responsibility falls on Harden.

*doesn't have it in him to lead a team past the most talented team of all time without the second best player on his team. Sure okay.

Bash him all you want Rockets "fans" but outside of maybe LeBron James there wasn't anything that anyone could of done that would have changed the outcome of the game. Hell, we're going to see first hand how LeBron can carry a team against GSW without a second star in a few days.

Harden has his flaws make no mistake about it but to crucify the guy for this loss is stupid, short sighted and a bit bandwagonish

Harden is a great player, but he doesn't have the IT factor when it comes to this types of games..
It is what it is.. Its clear as day when you watch this games.. you still need a player like HArden for a championship run, but would need CP3 + another all star playmaker to beat the Warriors..
CP3 clearly beat the Warriors in Game 4/5 (with his smart decisions and ability to control a game.

Harden is not in that level yet. and maybe will never be. Morey needs to realize that in order to take down the giant you will have to resign CP3, + add another all star playmaker..

I would never just blame Harden, but he needs to realize that he will have to change his game to compete in
    crunch time/playoff games..

If CP3 walks we will not see the conference final with Harden alone .. (Hes not capable of carrying a team)
which is not an easy thing to do.. He not a Kobe/ Lebron (buy hey who is)

curious who are those players who have the "IT factor" to carry a team with Cp3 injured, 3rd highest paid player/20% of the cap riding the bench to beat 2 superstar + 2 all star GSW superteam?

For the 2018 playoffs, Harden shot 36% overall and 33% from three. Those are not superstar numbers. The whole point of the game is to put the ball in the basket. I like James, I like his demeanor, he had a killer regular season, but he faded in the playoffs which is what he has done before. However, I am firmly convinced that if a healthy Paul had played the Rockets would be in the Finals.

just to be clear, for the golden state series (the western conference finals), Harden's 3pt percentage was 24%. He was 19 for 78 over 7 games. He also turned the ball over 34 times. That's about 5 times a game with close to a 1:1 assist to turnover ratio. That's much worse than what he did against Minny and Utah.

Harden's shooting numbers have always been pretty abysmal in the playoffs, especially from the 3 point line. But I think these numbers with golden state has to be put into context. Once we started clamping down on defense after game 3, it was a complete brick fest from every single person on the team.

Anyone who bashes James Harden is an absolute imbecile. We won 65 games, he's going to win MVP, and we had a 3-2 lead over the most talented team of all time. It's not Harden's fault CP3 got injured. Yes this loss hurts a lot, I'm still flat out disheartened because we were so close, but this was a matter of getting screwed by bad luck (the officiating didn't help either). The silver lining in all of this is that before the season began, most of us were questioning whether CP3 would even be a good fit. We had a wildly successful regular season despite a myriad of injuries and when we were healthy we were practically unbeatable...

Unfortunately and again, it's not likely we will replicate the same success a year from now as we aren't a young team and everyone will be a year older. We have to go all in on LeBron....that's really our best chance of dethroning this stupid Warriors team...
