He has a few boneheaded moments, but he was fine this series. His defense was much improved this series, that block on Draymond, lots of steals. It’s impossible to go up against 4 all stars (2 future HOF’ers) by yourself, and get things done. Ariza 0-12... ummm. James had to do so much this game, along with playing solid D, he wasn’t also going to score 45. I wish he wouldn’t settle for the 3 so much, and although he loves creating contact, try to finish each play instead of just going for contact. He has a reputation of that now, so I think he doesn’t get the calls he should. They just had too many weapons, and without CP3, it just wasn’t happening. It’s sad, though... what could’ve been, if CP hadn’t done that spin move on that last running floater

The only thing that frustrates me sometimes about Harden (other than his laziness on defense at times) is that he tends to get this idea that he NEEDS to pass the ball out of a drive to the basket.

There are too many times when he has a slightly difficult layup so he attempts an even more difficult pass out of it. Just take the layup. You're great enough to make them.

He's my guy though. Other than LeBron James there isn't a single player I would rather have leading this team. He has come such a long way as a leader and it's been amazing to watch him grow.

The enemy team has superstars too! 4 of them lol. So why are you blaming Harden when the enemy has 4 guys on the same level as he is?

It's not Harden's fault he doesn't have enough help; it's Morey's for signing Ryan Anderson to 20M and Ryan Anderson for being absolute trash.

He is fine, he is not as good as lebron but nobody is. He needs to add more weapons in his arsenal and cut down some turnovers. He can learn that from cp3.

He tried. Couldn't do it by himself. He's not a top 10 all timer.

He is who he is. We need Harden to be the third option in the playoffs behind Bron and CP3.

Switch Harden with Curry or Klay; the Warriors sweep easily in four. Good thread.

ultimately, its the cp3 injury that did us in. harden cannot sustain a high level against an elite defensive team when he has to be a PG and the leading scorer 48 minutes. you guys should be ashamed of yourselves bashing james. its unfair to act like he has to take down this warrior team without cp3 to get respect.

You have to admit Lebron or Kobe could play better than that.

    But Harden is Harden.

Nah but they probably give CP3 more help and don't force him to 1v5 the Warriors and destroy his hamstring.

kobe would score 30 point n 30 shots with like 3 assist in a double digit loss.

we seen how trash kobe was with d'antonio.

I blamed Harden last year for disappearing in Game 6 of the Spurs series. But this year he has done his best. If his shots are not falling he generally plays well on defense. Really can't ask for more.

Kobe had some pretty shaky moments too. Game 7 against the Suns in the first round... total meltdown.
