I dream of trading him all the time. Not cause I don't like him but because his stock is high and he could yield a better return as the focal point of a package deal. He's about as good as he's going to get. He can improve in certain aspects but he doesn't have the upside of a player like LMA or Al Horford or even Joakim Noah for example. I'm comparing Landry to those guys cause they're similar in age, experience and play the same spot. Those guys are players you wouldn't dream of trading if you had unless it was for an established star. Landry not so much.

OMFG!@ AB IN HIS ROOKIE YEAR WAS THE GOAT!!

He scored 6 points in 1 minute in his first game, if we gave him 48 minutes! He would have scored 288 points! OMG

We all feel the love as fans for Carl Landry. Personally, I will hate losing him even if we are able to acquire a guy like Bosh or Amare. It all depends on what the goal is in the long run. Do you want fan favorites, or do you want the Rockets to work back to going deep into the playoffs?

I was angry for weeks when we gave up Steve, Cat and Cato for Tracy, Juwan and God knows what else.

I thought JVG was a stubborn turd who couldn't tolerate an alternative personality.

However, in hindsight, Tracy's abilities were better than both Cat and Steve. His legacy as a Rocket is tarnished by his diva-like behavior and questionable injuries.

The point is...you have to sacrafice your favorite players in an attempt be "the best".

I'm still hoping Landry stays as a Rocket for awhile though.

Agreed. I cannot believe what I am reading in this thread. Landry has been our go-to guy in the 4th quarter for most of this season.

Without his contributions, we would have 10 less win (at least).

Landry is still improving and the day he figures out the double teams, it is lights out for the other team.

Rockets would be stupid to trade Landry Brooks or Lowry.

of any of the rockets Landry and Brooks are the ones that will come up big in the 4th. You don't trade those sort of players.

Lowry is a great back pg he isnt the biggest but he's tough and adds something a little different to brooks

I would trade Landry for A. Randolph in a heart beat......which can actually be a possibility, given that A. Randolph is on the trading block

It's not a possibility he's out of action for atleast another month.
