it isn't hindsight and critical thinking. it's false assumptions and people who have no business thinking they know better.

if you literally think cp3 is just not discussing realistically about his future. you got it. all you there.

It actually is hindsight. The teams with cap space.....we can see who they signed. Using critical thinking tells us what they were looking for at that point in time.

Don't underestimate the value of hindsight.

Again, can you list any of the suitors willing to give CP3 a max contract?

WB has been bad because he's rusty and coming off a major injury

It's a commonly held belief that we traded for him with the promise that we'd give him a max contract when he became a free agent. The fact that we traded him 1 year after extending him gives credibility to this belief.

I've asked you multiple times to list the suitors who were willing to give CP3 a max contract (as you claimed). Can you provide an answer?

that doesn't mean anything. the rockets had cap space when cp3 first signed or nah? Nah they didn't. they outright signed him without giving up anything? Nah they didn't. cp3 had to opt in to take less money and rockets had to give up half their roster to get him. Yeah they did.

but but but other teams didn't have cap space. what suitors

you were provided with the answer. you chose to ignore it with your critical thinking. give me a break with that bs gimmick

I've liked CP3 and last night he really showed that he deserves the accolades but I don't blame Morey for making the trade. Even though Westbrook and CP3 costs us the game last night I don't think it was a bad trade.

CP3 is 35 and Westbrook is 31. Westbrook is still in his prime while CP3 is in a decline. While CP3 has surprised everyone it wasn't a bad bet to think that his best years are behind him. Maybe it just took a change in scenery and maybe CP3 just works better with Billy Donovan. We really have no way of knowing that he would be playing at the same level if he was still here.

Westbrook is Westbrook and we're getting the whole package bad and good. I wish he wouldn't play so boneheaded at times but he does bring a fire to this team that was lacking. When Harden talks about that Westbrook is the leader of this team, while he's on the bench. He's not talking about just on court but the attitude he brings to the team. Whether that attitude is enough to get past the mistakes we'll find out tomorrow.

The Rockets didn't need cap space when they signed CP3. The same can't be said for other teams.

You didn't provide an answer. The video is useless. Do you really think Chris Paul is going to make a video about how no teams wanted to give him a max contract? Use some critical thinking.

It's pretty clear that you've been backed into a corner and are now running away. And it doesn't take much critical thinking to see that.

If I'm wrong, that means you should easily be able to list the teams that were willing to give CP3 a max contract.

Can you list any of these teams?

They had their best years because they added a HoF to their team and simply had more talent than they previously had. But they still weren't synergistic players. Again, we saw that in the conflict between Harden and Paul at the end of the year. Their offensive philosophies were simply not compatible.

However close CP3 and Westbrook are as players, losing the entire future of assets to trade one for the other is insanity.

The FRP’s alone make it a terrible trade. Let alone having to abandon a center completely making guys play out of position.

This is utter bs. His gripe with Harden had Nothing to do with wanting to be the center of the offense.

His fit was perfect because CP3 provided what Harden lacked in terms of leadership and late game management.
