Harden and CP3 clearly have issues. When your franchise player wants you to trade away a salty vet you do it and you don't look back. And as many others have pointed out CP3 faded in the playoffs last season (and he was healthy).

In hindsight yes obviously. But NO ONE could've possibly predicted that CP3 would not only play every game this season but look mostly like his old self. He was a decaying asset. That combined that Westbrook being injury prone this year instead just makes this a devastating trade for Houston.

not at all. Westbrook actually shot the ball good last night overall. Yes he made mistakes but god, he is rusty and just coming back.

Or did he choose to go to a team that would give him a max contract at the age of 33?

he had a number of suitors. he would have gotten max from any of the teams on the table that wanted him. This was known from the beginning from day1

San Antonio? They didn't have the cap space. Boston? Doesn't make sense given how young they were.

So again, who are these suitors?

so cp3 is sitting down just not talking about suitors. like he isn't realistically talking about his future. while someone on cf's knows more than he does about his own free agency. ok you got it

    lol cf's gonna cf's

No, i do not want anyone making excuses for him. He got injured more than Cp. Came back in had a tun of forced turnovers and air balled and missed layups in the 4th. He was terrible.

Do you know Allen Iverson said he single handedly lost us this game.

CP3 is 35 and on a terrible contract; I bet OKC will move him soon

However, he's a better fit for the team I think but let's not forget how bad he looked in Games 1 and 2 and against the warriors last year

wb is 31 and on a even worse contract. Hou has no choice but to keep him for 3 more years

Lets not forgot wb has been bad in the playoffs period

The alternative is to use hindsight and critical thinking.

You claimed there were multiple suitors willing to give CP3 a max contract. Can you list any of these suitors?
