I think you and others missed my point. First of all...the issue of whether a person was born gay or not is debateable to say the least.

Second, animals being homosexual and comparing that to humans is like saying animals that are incestous means that we should accept incest as well.

That being said, I CLEARLY STATED THAT NO ONE SHOULD BE OPPRESSED FOR their sexual practices that are legal in this country, whether I like or agree to them or not.

I don't agree with oppressing people in anyway because of them being gay, but don't expect me to accept it or like it, or consider it to be "normal". Regardless of my views, I can accept that people are entitled to have their own and live their lives free of oppression.

But also, don't tell me that gay/lesbian people are similar to being black slaves and their ancestors with the oppression and suffering that was endured and continues to this day in hidden forms. That is BS my friend.

Again..I think many of you choose to ignore my statement that no one should be discriminated against because of their sexual preferences. I know gay and lesbian people and like them as people, even if I don't agree with their practices. I also believe that they should in no way be oppressed or discriminated against.

But you are right...whether one is a Jew, Christian or Muslim is likewise a choice and also should not be discriminated against. I dont know what I said to make you think I would disagree with that.

I could give you reasons why a person should be a Christian over a Muslim, or why I think being a Muslim is the wrong faith, but that wouldn't mean that I believe that it is okay to discriminate against them would it?

While I completely disagree on your opinion and whatever studies support it, based on the nature of things, I still will reiterate that I don't agree for anyone to discriminate against gays/lesbians for their sexual preference when it is legal in this country.

I always lol at people who think their silly superstitions are somehow more valid than others'.

Then again, looks like you have no concern for facts or reality in the first place.

Very good science (twin studies being some of the best evidence) shows that homosexuality is determined by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. There is no doubt that there is at least some genetic component and some environmental component. I'm not aware of any evidence that suggests people are able to control what makes them aroused.
