I hear you op, i really do, but understand being patient trying to get the best deal by holding out and we have asked for a lot for our players. But it really backfired as what is a really deep draft where picks are important to acquire talent and throw some darts to hope to hit. But now waiting has hurt every single players trade value. Wall injured, which doubt moved anyway. But Gordon, having a really good season you played him and his brittle ass hurt again. Now no contender can use him as imagine going be out to long a time. Oladipo been horrible, not a good shooter. He is nowhere near elite, and seems every game he plays he gets worse. Tucker, who has been rumored forever to be a trade candidate has not gave a **** and played horrible, and now walked away. Our leverage on both Oladipo and Tucker has faded away further and further. House is hurt. Nwaba is hurt. How many times have we been at just 8 players this year. In a season of Covid, we have to get more players somewhere. We are losing so badly as we have a different lineup all the time, someone out or can't play back to back. To be honest we have hit rock bottom and this sucks. Personally I think ego and nwaba could be good for us next season if we come back healthy w everyone and add a few FA pieces and maybe even a high draft pick at this point. We’d be much better if we didn’t have so many injuries. At this point we should focus on giving the future more PT. Dunno what the story is w tuck. But if he is pouting demanding a trade ASAP, then I lost all respect for him. We owe him exactly nothing. He has been w the tram 3 years. Not 13. tl;dr? Wall and Gordon = consistently unhealthy. Oladipo and Tucker are both poo poo'ing their value. Could really use Cousins and Wood right now. Need to get healthy and sign Brooks. Want to see more Lamb and less Patton. Hate the old guard (Morey, Harden, Tucker) so stop talking about them. Need to bench Oladipo to preserve his value. Too late, Stone tried to play EG and Dipo as much as possible to get their trade value up and it just backfired on us last night with EG getting injured. Dipo is also injury prone, we should just sit him out and take whatever we can for him. Hopefully Wall is still willing to mentor this young team, yes his shooting has not been ideal but he is still a vet in the league.
I don’t mind the Dipo trade. My goal when harden left was to keep the our draft pick. In hindsight I guess it would’ve been aight because levert not playing but if he was healthy, we be battling for the 7 seed and that jsut wasn’t very attractive to me. I don’t care about jsut making the playoffs. I didn’t care about it during the pre harden years. I jsut care about stockpiling young assets and cheap contracts(preferably rookie deals).
We will be alright. If a team wants Gordon, they will get him. He will be healthy for the Playoffs and that is the only reason a team would trade for him
42 percent and 34 percent from three is not too bad on the comeback season, his last 10 games have dragged it back down a bit. He has never been a big time shooter, more of a lay up guy.
