Wow, I know OKC gets calls but damn this **** is ridiculous. You can't breathe on an OKC player with getting a foul. I hate to complain about the refs but hey that only goes so far especially when my team is getting screwed over.
We had a stretch of like 12 minutes where did not get a single field goal. Beverley got too caught up in the matchup. Howard got neutered by the refs early on in the season. He is too scared to back people down now in fear of the offensive foul and flopping pieces of **** like Steven Adams. This game was not on the refs. EDIT: Oh yeah, we missed like 11 free throws.
Didn't lose because of the referees. That being said, Harden probably wished he was still wearing an OKC jersey with the way they were calling it for Westbrook and Durant.
Yeah lets not be whiners please. There were some questionable calls both ways but for the most part the game was well officiated. The Refs just wanted to clean things up thats why they were watching Bev closely.
this. we lost by 8 points. ask yourself this: did we give up 8 pts' worth of bad plays early in the game? yes, yes we did. and we should feel bad.
Refs were fair. Beverly actually lost this game for us...he got too caught up in the rivalry between he and Westbrook...April 4 its going down. People at TC better boo the hell out of Durant and his freakin cheapshots and that turtle lookin mo fo Westbrook. And I dont even need to mention Fisher. Dwight better dominate against Adams as well.
Refs weren't even that bad this game. If anything, we SUCKED the 2nd quarter. Nobody could land anything and that's what killed us.
I don't want to blame on the refs but the foul calls were very weird. Westbook and Durant got like 90% of the calls for the Thunder. While the rockets gets the calls spread out not just one specific players.
the refs will do their thing. Thats normal. Whats not normal is how horrible we played in the 2nd quarter
Well get used to it because it's clear David $tern didn't retire until he assured himself that his replacement would be sculpted in his desired mold. Adam Silver was his yes-man and it seems apparent that he only got the job because he had similar viewpoints to Stern as far as basketball operations went. Silver wouldn't have gotten the job if he wanted to overhaul the officiating system or limit the amount of ridiculous advertisements in the league today. If he did, $tern would have just found the next man for the job. Fk that egotistical douche.
While it was Howard's no-show performance and Bev trying too hard that ultimately cost us this game, the officiating left a lot to be desired.
There's usually always hometown bias. Part of the reason why I was pissed when the Blazers kept getting "hometown calls" in our last game. This game was reffed more to what you'd expect. Anyway, don't care. I agree with Morey that OKC is the one team I don't think we'd win in the playoffs. No big deal we lost.
