    NJ Rocket,

    How can you say that?

    2000- 16, Turkajou 17, Mason 18 Richardson
    1999- 16, Artest 18, Posey
    1998- 14, Dickerson 15, Harpring
    1997- 14, MO TAYLOR
    1996- 14, Stojakovic 15, Nash 16, Jermane Oneal
    etc.....

Need I go on. Rocket Millenium was right, so agree with him.

I think Artest's availability will be dependent on the playoffs. Remember, the Pacers have shelled out big bucks for Croshere and Harrington already, and are almost sure to do the same for Bender, which would leave Artest kind of out of the mix.

Artest is a bit of a personality, but he could give this team the right kind of confidence, not to mention add his suffocating defense to a team of matadors, ESPECIALLY on the perimeter.

Clutch-Yep. It's kind of cool we didn't give up hope in Toronto NOT tanking it with VC gone.

If some things happen this offseason, this could be viewed as one of those "perfect" type scenarios that it takes to win a championship: the loss of a legend over the past 20+ could turn into a key piece of the puzzle for the next 10, the injury to a superstar could give way to the answer to Shaq, and the injury to a PF signed long term could add value to another PF to help in other areas.
