OK, seen enoguh bash for Wang. I would like give some support to him. Wang's attitude and desire are strong if you know what he had done to play in NBA , he struggled for a decade though he is only 25. He plays basketball for life, not for fun. He doesn't have much talent, but he can manage his way to win. Wang's any team would never lose to Korean, to Shanghai Shark. Wang needs to sell his thing, let people know his price. But in NBA, only a few teams care about win. Clipppers definately not. Rockets, .....forget it.

So why they call Wang "Dodger"? Well, in China, Wang Zhi-Zhi is nicknamed "Da Zhi". (meaning Big Zhi, which is his first name shortened in a fashion that is similar to people here calling others by initials) Da Zhi (DAH-ZHIRH) apparently is hard to pronounce and it sounds similar to "Dodger". I think Donnie Nelson III (the grandson) gave him the name during Wang's brief stay at Donn Nelson's (the son, assistant coach) residence when Wang first arrived. Other sources say Donnie originally named Wang "Dodge"(as in Dodge Ram) and then others took it for "Dodger" as a joke. I have rarely followed the CBA when I was in China. I did watch Wang playing in the Sydney Olympics and 2001 Asian games. He and Yao were both present on the court and Wang seemed more aggressive and more dominant during those games. But when he came back to the US, he's a "3-point specialist" again. Wang had won six consecutive CBA championships. He was not the main contributor to the first few but did put up good numbers. This is really long for my first ever message here. Anyway, enough about Wang, trading him is a bad idea but could even make more publicity in China. I hope Yao, Wang, and Bateer can all prevail in their own perspectives in the future.

Wang is MJ of CBA???No way,why BaiYi got so many champions in CBA? cauze they are Army,they can get any player they want from other Army team. Let me tell you something. FanBing,LiNan,MoKe all come from other Army teams.(then those teams only can play the minor league till now) and why Shanghai,BeiJing cant beat BaiYi,not because of Wang. It's just because of LiuYuDong, he is the best PF and MVP of CBA.
