    Trashy malls = 713

I live between Katy Mills and Willowbrook Mall so I am not worried any time soon about the ghetto flood.

Willowbrook might be headed for ghettoville, even though it's an upscale zipcode.

My mom used to be a store manager for a womans clothing store back in the early 80's. I remember going to all the malls because they would move her around.

When she worked in Sharpstown I loved going with my dad to pick her up just to play this little trivia game outside of Radio Shack. That mall used to be a great place. Man how times have changed.

Ain't no party like a Katy Mills party.

I'm looking forward to the new outlet center to open out on 290 later this year. No more having to drive to San Marcos for good deals on stuff. I WANT MY TIMBERLAND BACK!!

Heck yeah! I used to love the "feel" of Meyerland, even if the stores were kinda run-down. Every time I go to one of the many "outlet" malls in central Texas, I think to myself "They ripped off the 'inside-outside' design from Meyerland Plaza."

Sad as it is, it was a matter of time. There are merchants at Sharpstown who used to make big money there, but in recent years, it has fallen apart and the merchants were losing their shirts.

I think the only merchants doing well there recently have been those selling drugs in the parking lot. ;) :D

I remember back in the day when that was a nice mall with good shops. I remember stopping by during a lunch hour recently and there were a lot of Urban type clothing places and a gold teeth place (grill?). I remember meeting my little girlfriends at Northwest Mall when I was a teen. That one looks like it is going down too.

    I'm wondering the same.

People throwing that word around so much you'd think we are in some middle eastern country with kids walking around with RPGs at the mall. I think most people need to be exposed to real "ghettoness" then they will know what real ghetto is.
