dude your not cheering on our current best player when we play games. Thats akin to cheering the Rockets team to not win? And if we win because of T-mac your basically been barracking against the Rockets. How does that even make sense to your "im a rocket fan" type mentality
If we win because of him? WE'RE SUPPOSED TO WIN BECAUSE OF HIM.. after all he is the 20 million dollar "superstar" that's his job. Especially now that Yao is gone. The games where he actually shows up, that's great for the TEAM. Still hate the dude. The current best player is Yao, and he would be so much better if it weren't for those damn refs. Meanwhile Wack gets the calls, and he misses free throws like crazy
why do we keep arguing with this guy? he just said tmac gets calls and yao doesn't. that alone should tell you the level of hate the guy has for tmac. and i don't know of a reason anyone in this world would "hate" some other individual, esp. an athlete. prollie still a baby waiting for his next milk bottle from his mommy.

unlike you, i criticize tmac with the intention that he'll help the team. i criticize every rockets the same way. i'll be willing to trade both stars if they help the team. but i'm not going to "hate" on any rocket and wishes he does bad to prove your own point. i cheer for the rockets. even if a scrub like smush parker plays for the rockets, he'll be one of the guys i cheer for. will i criticize him if he plays bad? sure. will i hate him? i don't hate anyone that represents the rockets.
That would explain Antisonic's oh-so-fresh "Matrix" references... It's 1999 all over again. Speaking of tired and pathetic, the knee-jerk McGrady bashing is stupid. Our grouchy, obsessed friends can't have it both ways- if you ignore his role in the team's success without Yao this year and last then you can't blame him for the team's failure to advance in the playoffs. Bashing McGrady's playoff performance seems smart unless you actually watched any of the games, knew anything about basketball, or have a functioning brain. He has the 4th highest scoring average in playoff history. He elevated flawed teams to make the playoffs in the first place. McGrady actually improved his game in the playoffs every year in categories across the board. You can look it up. But, hey, I forgot that it's a team game when the Rockets win and Tracy's personal defeat when they lose. I mean, who could argue with logic that hangs the loss on McGrady for missing *four* free throws in game 7 against Utah last year, but doesn't credit the 29 points, 13 assists and 3 blocked shots?
If it were up to me, i would seriously ban all the ***'s from this site. what a f'ing joke. If you learned anything watching this season, and the streak, you should have realized its TEAM ball that got us where we are. why do you hate on anyone on this team. they play as a unit. with or without yao/mcgrady. tmac is my favorite player in the league, but never in my life have i been so impressed with a TEAM. stop bashing players on this TEAM. if you only like Yao get the f out of here because hes gone for the rest of the year. take your hate and your illogical approach to anything basketball related and shove it up your arse.

I don't think that if you don't like a player on the Rockets that you are a bandwagoner or non Rockets fan as some have suggested. I don't like every player on the Rockets currently. I think the difference between a good fan and a poser is whether you root for the people you don't like. I don't especially like Rafer and would prefer to find a new PG but when he shoots I always hope he makes it. The Rockets come first then my bias towards players. I would venture a guess that quite a few people who dislike T-Mac are happy when he misses or plays bad because they feel validated to an extent. I started this thread not as a you should always support all Rockets players. I started it because people who think T-Mac or any player in this league would rather just not player because they are brusied or hurt are F-ing stupid. The bottom line is every player in this league wants to play first and foremost.
With the T-Mac needing to do something more threads continuing to be high in the thread I am bumping my thread back to the top so people may finally learn to stop talking about things they have no idea about.
Nice thread here, a dose of reality. I would reckon that after the Spurs game, the forum will be flooded with T-Mac related posts. If he played well, but we lost, he would be criticized for not involving team mates, plays badly and we lose, well, heap everything on him. Plays well and we win, nothing. Plays badly and we win, TRADE T-MAC! By the way, my member number beats yours any day.
