Im not saying what people say about Mcgrady is wrong. He clearly does not show for some games. Whether it be mental or injury, New Orleans was a huge game to demonstrate this. What Im saying is someone like Anti Sonic comes pays out his injuries when he neatly ignores the same problems that Yao suffers is ridiculous and shows how low some of the levels of this board posting has gone. Putting the sole reason as T-mac being high paid, injured and a first round play off virgin is like condemning Yao as well. Its hypocrisy at its best

Actually, I was talking about the entire 7-game playoff series in 2005 where McGrady owned Dirk on both ends of the floor.

last time i will try to educate you.

in the playoff series in 04-05, he avg 20ppg on 35% shooting v. houston.
    tmac put up 31, 7, 7 on 47% shooting.

guess who won the series?

yao isn't that high paid, and his salary is deserving for what he does when he's on the court

LAWL. Now I know exactly how little you know about the Rockets.

Not only did Bowen's minutes slowly decrease as the series progressed, but Dirk actually shot SIGNIFICANTLY better while Bowen was guarding him. These stats were posted REPEATEDLY during the national telecasts of the game. Dirk shot about 35% while McGrady was guarding him, and over 50% while Bowen was guarding him. (This is a big reason Bowen's minutes quickly decreased, actually)

Ryan Bowen was actually one of the main reasons we lost that series.

... Anyways, you continue to ignore the point in all this, and it is not just how valuable McGrady is to this team...

    Um realistically speaking
neither him or Mcgrady deserve what they get paid
they both have been out for extended periods of time more then any other star players in the league. The thread title said get off your high horse
    not get another one.

Yao does not deserve a contract like that if his going to miss 30-40 games on average a season, neither does Mcgrady. Any other comments?

BTW, that video you posted was chasing it's tail just as much as any of the posts you've made in this thread.

Random highlights from some random Lakers/Rockets matchup in some random regular season game. You didn't prove anything with that video except that you have the ability to use video editing software to create a mixtape.

I could create a similar video "proving" that Gilbert Arenas is better than Kobe and "always" shows up for his major matchups.

heh, i remember him being the "dirk stopper". Those stats are probably true but hey, Rox lost the series, oh and that was 4 years ago. Back when Wack was actually good. What's happened to Wack since then? career declining at 28 lol?
flat jumpshot? can't make free throws?

    Chris Webber
    Stephon Marbury
    Jermaine Oneal
    Shaquille Oneal

THEY MISS GAMES LIKE EFFIN CRAZY AND LOOK AT THEIR SALARIES

Let's hope he plays even worse the rest of the way at the cost of the Rockets season!

That way, everyone will agree with you, and the Rockets will trade him for someone you like better (until he has a bad season or two).

    GO ROCKETS!

yes so what exactly are you talking about with Mcgrady then? I know you like Yao and all but give credit where its due with T-mac.

My point still stands Anti Sonic has no reply to his own set critiera

SO THAT WE GET OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND?
    YES!!
You really think were gonna do anything without Yao? Might as well trade him for someone who can get out of the 2nd round and make all ROCKETS FANS happy, including myself. Everyone has a least favorite player(or a guy they just dont like) remember that thread in the nba forum? people say "oh i hate that guy for such and such reason" well my least favorite player is twack and he happens to be on my favorite team which is why i criticize him so much.
    Go 14/15 Rockets players!

dude you really should stop talking
your semi barracking for our team to lose. So you honestly believe this team will win with Yao alone and no T-mac?
if you were a true rockets fan then you wouldn't be saying things like that. Its like saying your almost willing our team to lose so T-mac can piss off
