Let's Rank the Top 16 Rocket teams of all time and then have a tournament with votes on each round. Sounds pretty cool to me. The Buffalo Bills web site is doing it. I think it's a good idea. Let's get the ball rolling you web creatures. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
I'd be surprised if most even remembered any but those 2 teams. ------------------ Yugo grills, Yugo mills, Check out the oil my Yugo spills...
O.K.PSJ,I'll help kick this off with a couple of obvious ones.In addition to the aforementioned title teams.....the 80 and 86 teams. ------------------ If I had my life to live over,I would have liked to have ended up as a sportswriter - Richard M. The 96-97 squad(Lost to Jazz in WCF) Might have been from 1-12 most talented rocket's team ever. Dream, Chuck, Elie, Clyde, Eddie, Maloney, Willis, Davis. DOD, Didn't the Rockets organization originate in the 93-94 season? ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
But they were all on their last legs! Barkely-old and tired (sometimes broken) Drexler-about to retire Eddie-about to retire Hakeem on his serious dip down Elie-as cold as they come from the 3 Maloney-come on (talented?) Davis was hurt for the season The team would have been the best even 2 years earlier. This team was made a year too late!!! Too bad for Barkley. The much anticipated Bulls Rockets matchup never developed past a pipe dream. Shame shame. ------------------
