The reason is if JVG is tough on Tmac, he will be fired in minutes. It is an easy choice to make for the managements between JVG and Tmac.

I miss SF3, Cat, Cato...now. I don't think our current team is better than that one.

I can not help to think: Yao, Cato, Battier, Cat, Sf3 as starters. Boki, Hayes, Rafer, Head, Deke, Vspan.. come from bench. They will play with heart.

    JVG sucks.

Tmac, don't let us disappoint... it's time to show your talent and carry the team. I don't know how to say it, your behavier on the court some times make us fans feel you don't care and lazy.
Come on, You have all the weapons to lead the team to win.

    Go Rox

JVG is at his best when his teams are short-handed like earlier in the season when Yao went out. Everyone would agree that we definitely are not getting everything out of our two allstars (not superstars). The guy just is a terrible offensive coach. We ran the same freakin plays over and over. I know these guys are professional but I just don't see JVG inspiring these guys either. The jury is still out. I would not bring JVG back even if we get out of the first round. The only way I would keep him is we if get to the WCF.

Please limit Luther's minutes. He has been the total oppposite of his clutch self from the regular season. Isn't Utah the team that looked totally lost the last 2-3 weeks of the regular season. I don't even recognize these Rockets. Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in this series its hard for me to blame the players or the coach. on one hand, our role players are horrible, and we have no athletes. on the other hand, like the mavs series, we go up 2-0, we start losing and no adjustments are made. we have the exact same plan of attack as the first two games, then when we start losing van gundy just says we arent giving enough effort. is that the truth ? or has the other team's coach just made the right adjustments, and we never try to counter it. IDK........this is painful to watch.

First things first! Do away with the notion that 'Win Now Works'
It takes a few seasons to assemble a team and gain playoff experience to win a NBA Championship
At present we have too many 'duds' selected via CD and JVG, I won't mention any names but we all know who they are.
If Les is serious, the team needs four quality players who in two seasons can help mould this team into a leader in the Western Conference.
    a] A Playmaker Point Guard
    b] Third option scorer
c] A Tall athletic Power Forward who plays at both ends of the court.
d] a crack three point shooter, role player.
The team needs a coach who is able and willing to develop players
and coaches at both ends of the court.[It might take two coaches]

rfila, I agree with you. With JVG, Rockets will never get a NBA champion.

That's what JVG was saying when he took over the team: it's the personnel not the coach, but now the personnel are guys he wanted for this team. Face it JVG has his type of players on this team now and he still can't get it done.

It's time to own up a face the facts JvG style and player prefences worked great in the early 90s. The game has passed him by and he's to stuborn to adjust. He's gone after this year and the Rockets will be in rebuilding again.
We need guys that can do many things well like the Suns, GS, and Dallas teams. Right now we have an old system in place that does not work full of players who are specialists.

The problem is where we can get the cap space? TMAC + YAO take most of the salary.
    In terms of salary:
    T-MAC = Boozer + Okur :(
