the only way we could "steal" calderon is by giving up a battier and a scola. I really doubt they would want a PG, when they already have ford, dixon and derrick martin to play PG if they trade calderon. possible trade will be calderon and parker for battier and scola. Which only meant more trades to be down to get our PG situation under control.
I cannot see why the raptors want Battier and Scola. They have a tons of good forwards. In fact, they are one good centre away from championship. The only player they want is Yao.
Can we please stop trade proposals with Raptors? They are a good and young team with bright future. Why would they give up a solid player for those old and unconsistant guys. I will give credit to their manager for raptors success. so i hardly believe we can steal any good deal from them.
I'd be willing to give up a 1st round pick for him. I think Calderon would be perfect for this team. I wanted him last year, too. I questioned his defense, but when he applied that one-man full court pressure against us, he looked pretty decent. I'm not sure where the Raptors place his value. I know it's higher than ever right now because of Ford's injury issue. But let's not discount the fact that he could be leaving Toronto next year for nothing. I think the Raptors would listen if the Rockets offered a 1st.
I think the key is Calderon himself. If the rockets can offer him good contract and start pg posistion, he will come.
So Calderon will beg out from the NBA and return to Spain because he has no cajones? I thought Calderon was thought of better then that...
Why get Calderon? We should get Nash, Kobe, Lebron, KG as long as we don't have to give up Yao, TMac, Battier or Scola. Let Phoenix, the Lakers, the Cavs and the Celtics figure out who gets Hayes, James, Novak and Brooks. I just hope we aren't giving up too much.

I think the Raptors even won't want Tmac, since they have a lots of good playmakers and shooters. The only one they want is Yao.
Or just put the pipe down! I think we'll make a deal or two, at some point, but I don't think it'll be with Toronto (certainly not involving Calderon!), unless it's a 3-way.
He was undrafted, wasn't he? You know what? Time for Rockets to find some talent by their own, instead of vying for others. We have only Luther Head who turns out half decent.
