Sorry Toast, Two potential Rocket acquistions who seem to be just saying the right things about their possible future employer and coach is not good enough.
See the 2nd sentence of Marc Jackson's quote. Then, do your own research. I suggest from the summer when players from around the league come to Houston and play at Westside Tennis Club. Somehow, I'm not surprised that after spending my own time to satifsy your request, it wouldn't be enough I said players from around the league would love to play for Rudy T & Houston. You said show me a quote. I found free agents who said that exact thing. The fact that players from around the league would love to play for Rudy doesn't have to sway you from your belief that Rudy T is a bad coach, but come on, it's there in black and white. Players from around the league have consistently said they'd love to play for Rudy T -- a player's coach, and they'd love to play in Houston.
Actually, If this whole year goes by and the team is making the same stupid mistakes at the end of the year, that they are making now. And, they are missing the playoffs yet again. I would look HARD at Rudy and the job he does with Young players. It is clear that Isaih is getting through...is Rudy? DD
Sir, I have one question. Are you a fly on the Wall? Do you know what is said in private, Well as you so well said, "uh, didnt think so.
Thank you for spending time to find quotes. It's just not what I was looking for. After saying just about every player in the league and so many players want to play for Rudy, to prove your claim, you give me two quotes from two guys who, at the time, were in the process of being courted and signed by the Rockets. That doesnt equate to "just about every player in the league" wants to play for Rudy man im starting to think this is just some westside myth created by Marc Berman and Keith Jones.
Stoke, I agree. Westside is a perfect facility. Players that live in Houston, work out at Westside. Matress Mac has an Open Door Policy. The Rockets invite opposing NBA players. The weather, the women, no state taxes. It goes on and on. I've never heard a player said that he wants to play for Rudy because he makes brilliant decisions in the 4th quarter. Stoke, challenge the posters to find that quote! You will only hear silence.
It doesn't matter how good Rudy T is. If he can't control his players, then it's time for a change. Maybe the reason so many players around the league want to play for Rudy T is because he's a push over. Maybe he has a rep for being easy on players. That would explain why he is so well liked, and it would also explain why SF and CM get away with so much. Raven
There needs to be at least an informal understanding on this board that you don't walk in here on your 3rd post, demand that the coach who has given his whole career to the Rockets and won two championships be fired, and give as your reasons a rehash of every worn-out complaint we've debated all year while you were off somewhere sucking your thumb. If you've got no substance, show some originality. If you've got no originality, show some humility. If you've got no substance, originality, or humility, what the hell is your thread doing here.
