Les didn't allow Daryl to rebuild and I doubt Tilly will go for it. But, the time to move the James Gang for picks/ young players/expiring contracts is right now. - James is healthy - He isn't declining yet - Beard hasn't asked for a trade We have all the leverage for a big haul at this point in time. The idea of "reloading" only to not have enough is a waste of time...as well as being full of downside risk for injury. In addition to LA, GS is back in play. And, Silas is the ideal coach for it. OMT.. I'm in the minority that hasn't forgotten/written off Russ's incredible play earlier in the season before Covid and the quad. I understand why some might argue to run it back again.
You need to get your act together. A couple of months ago you literally attacked everybody that was hinting at this and told folks to eat crow. stfu and stop wasting bandwidth, nobody cares. But yes we need to rebuild
You guys need to realize, we won’t get equal value for our top guys.. If we start rebuilding, we are gonna be stuck. Unless we get a chance of ownership, those years where we don’t have our pick or okc gets to swap. We gon be depressed.
I have been kind of curious where people peg Harden's trade value. But that being said unless he demands a trade, trading him for anyone not named Giannis or Luka would be one of the worst decisions in franchise history
I made an educated guess in another thread. Beard value IMO is equal to Ben Simmons + the top pick in the next draft. I think that's somewhere in the neighborhood. I'm just using these two assets to illustrate the total value. Get there using whoever/whatever you want. The overall #1 could be switched out for 3 top 10 picks.
Maybe the knicks package would be decent for Westbrick. I mean if you think of how rockets had Dream, Thorpe, and Kenny? Harden, Tucker, and Gordon?. Maybe the rockets need some youth to put around these 3 guys.
I was thinking Simmons + Thybulle + 2 unprotected Philly 1sts if we were trading with Philly specifically.
Daymn, bro. You salty? I do not like him acting like a chancla, but tranquila. I agree with you though. Jaja.
Also, bandwidth is not correct. Server or database memory... okay. Get it straight, bro. Talk shiot correctly, nerd. Jaja.
I'd say that's still not enough for Harden with two more years on his deal, Simmons is nice overall and younger, but also maxed and he's still not in the same category of Harden (and likely never will) so, Philly should add much more then a potential Ariza and two future picks in the 20/30 range, even if they're unprotected. Plowman's idea isn't bad, but finding a third team to entice Minnie into giving up the N.1 pick won't be easy, surely the Sixers aren't that team. Knicks might be if they really like Westbrook, they have that 8th pick plus other interesting (i guess) young players like Knox, Randle, Barrett, Ntilikina etc that should all be available...if they would be willing to move the pick and a player Minnie likes, maybe...something like: HOU GETS: Simmons, N.1 pick, future 1sts and swaps from Phila PHI GETS: Harden (and a swap Horford/Gordon if they value that) NY GETS: Westbrook and a pick from Phila or Thybulle (if needed) MIN GETS: N.8 pick, young player from NY and Covington (if needed) Detroit was another team interested in Westbrook just few months ago, and they also have a top 10 pick, but i don't really know what the hell they'll do, they let Drummond go but at the same time they're stuck with Griffin and i doubt there's someone willing to trade for him as today so, unless they're able to move they might feel it's a better idea to get a Westbrook and try to win some games. And thinking about it, something like: Wood Griffin Doumbouya Kennard Westbrook ...wouldn't be that bad in the East. The problem with the Piston is, who would they trade to Minnie in order for us to get the N.1 pick? I'm sure Doubouya is a keeper 100%, Kennard maybe, ch said they were willing to trade him last deadline and his rookie scale contract is almost done.
Ben Simmons has maxed out his skill at 24. Does he have potential, NO Has James Harden maxed out his Potential at 31 years old, NO. James Harden is still Improving which is Scary Good. It is sad Daryl Morey didn't get it done. Instead of one way shoot or miss players with no defense. G Leaguers and 2nd Round busts. There are 1st Round Picks with Harden except Clint Capela until he got traded which is a poor job by Morey.
