All I ask is tell Rocket fans the truth. Too much PR baloney, what is Bonzi's real status? Is he getting paid while not playing? Is he still injured? Is this a power stuggle with JVG? Tell the truth. The fans deserve to know what is going on, we keep the Rocket's ship afloat, we are the paying customers. What's the deal? Many fans bought season tickets because of the team's promises. Fans don't have a right to know everything, but they have a right to know the status of players.
If we don't play him, why don't we cut him and teach him a lesson? Plus, we will have a roster spot for someone who really wants to play.
why should the rockets tell all the facts? they don't need to. everybody knows what's happening. bonzi came slightly injured and out of shape to camp. he got his time that he needed to get healthy. but instead on working on getting in shape and recognizing that he has to be in shape to help his team he plays the lazy ass punk. as a coach you can't tell your other players that this behavior doesn't matter because he is so talented. you just can't. and you can't tell the hard facts the press either. because if you do that lazy ass will have nothing to lose here and will force his way out. but if you just keep everything within the organisation there is a chance that the whole thing will get fixed. it's not on jvg, it's solely on bonzi wells. he has to be healthy and he has to be in shape. he doesn't even has to say sorry. he just has to work his butt off to show it with his game (in practice) that he wants to be a part of this team. if he doesn't do that he will hurt the team sooner or later anyways so he doesn't need to be a part of this team at all.
jeff van dummy owes it to us, at least to an extent, to let us know what is going on. in an indirect way we employ him, no fans = no money for les to pay his dumb a@#. so look you r****d, if you have a real reason you are not playing him tell us and if it is another of your i am little napoleon this is the way it is decisions you need to be fired.
We need bonzi and jvg is doing a disservice to the team and fans by not fielding the best team we can. Once bonzi starts playing and plays well, all the fans here whining about him here will do a 180 and start cheering him.
taylor was a soft PF. so to say he didn't fit in VG's system, i agree, 15 footers constantly isn't going to cut it for a PF griffin did HIMSELF in, he had problems when rudy was here. anderson was so great after he got off the bench from us he continued to sit on the bench in Miami anderson was NOT a sought after free agent. steve and mobley were traded for Tmac. if that trade were to be able to be done a million times, every single time, steve and mbley for tmac would be done in a heartbeat.

Stop the bonzi hate. That got old a long time ago as well. I think some people have never seen bonzi play before. Do you recall him ever being skinny while in portland, memphis or grizz? JVG is holding him out as a personal grudge, nothing more, nothing less. JVG is putting himself above the team, and that can't be defended.
yeah, bonzi hate. it's obviously hating a player if you demand that the player gets himself into shape and cares for the team. i don't recall him being skinny, but you know, there's something in between skinny and a fat ass. what i recall is that i saw him playing out of shape for the rockets and that he didn't help us because he was so slow, that he was out-quicked by forwards. well, afterall, i have to admit, i was wrong and you are right. it's just jvg's personal grudge. wait, maybe it's just your personal grudge against jvg? hey, but what do i know...
Thanks you I am so sick of these threads blaming JVG for Bonzi being a spoiled millianaire who obviously does not give a crap about the regular season. I guess we'll get at least one of these after every loss this season. JVG played Novak and Spanoulis so this must be the only thing the JVG haters have to B**** about today.

It's not a matter about being skinny. It's about being conditioned and playing at an optimal weight/stamina. The Bonzi Wells I saw in the home opener was slow and did not have any semblance of quickness. He needs to prove to us that he can 1. Get off his lazy butt 2. Get said lazy butt into the gym 3. Practice and shed some weight I'm pretty sure JVG wants Bonzi on the court as much as we do. But what good is he to the team if he can't keep up with opposing players and can't play down low like he did against the Spurs last playoffs?
