Hope his handles have improved because Amen definitely gets shy about driving against a defender that’s squared up
I'm sure the hope is that Reed eventually takes over for FVV as the starting PG, but that's yet to be seen. For next season, I think they are more than comfortable with the FVV/Amen back court, and I think if they can't upgrade on the cheap, they'll be okay with giving it a go with Cam/Reed/Holiday coming off the bench to start the year. Won't be shocked if Cam is still traded, but if he's kept I think the Rockets will be okay with it. The real strength of this team though will be with the length on defense. This team is DEEP with long athletic wings, and 4's. Big year from Bari, and Tari too for sure. I would assume with KD missing alot of regular season games regardless of health, Tari will play a big role when KD is out. Him and Jabari need to be in the gym all season getting their shots right.
Oh yeah. He'll have to improve ALOT. I just think this is a signal the team is betting on him making a huge leap this season.
I truly think that Vanvleet will shoot a higher percentage on the three ball this year. There will be more open looks. Amen needs to be working daily with Segun on the Pick and roll. Smith Durant FVV providing the spacing should work nicely
Nah, Amen is the 2. Gives us dual ball handlers. Hopefully Reed has his mind right and isn't playing scared next season.
Beal aint it, we can do way better. Have you seen his numbers the last few years? It's like a slightly more efficient Jalen Green with less than a 20th of the defense...**** that ****.
