Papa Nick is a better back up 3/4 than Dekker. Papa Nick was a true role player who threw his body around rebounding, defending and stretching the floor. Dekker is a bad fit on the team. Neither athletic enough nor is he willing/capable of doing the dirty work required of a complementary player.
Do we have the chips to get Ibaka (expiring contract)? Out of sheer curiosity I've watched Orlando's first two games, and I don't think their "go big" experiment is going to work. Having Anderson come off the bench with Serge starting at the PF would solve a lot of this team's problems. Ariza+Dekker+Harrell+multiple 1st rounders? Spitballing here.
Ibaka would be a nice get but would cripple Rockets depth. But a cheaper better fit would be Aaron Gordon IMO. He's a 4 that can guard all 5 positions, uber athletic and gives team another player that can handle the ball.
