Damn. Does it say something that the only ideas I can think of have to do with playing off of chineses food names? For shame.

Makes perfect sense to me: the move is so satisfying, but a few minutes later you're hungry for more.

I thought the Dream Shake -- which, if I'm not mistaken, was the move upon which Yao's shimmy was based -- was the shake itself, not the shake and the shot afterward. Am I mistaken?

Weren't Hakeem and Shaq doing this move before Yao even got into the league? I want to say I saw a highlight clip from this very forum that had Hakeem doing that move at least once, if not more.

Well obviously Yao didn't invent the baseline spin move. But it is his most recognizable move and probably deserving of it's own name.

Good point. Not to mention that he's damn fun to watch doing that move.

See, I always thought "Shanghai Shake" should of been the "Mingshake" becuase it kind of sounded like "Dreamshake".

Thats why the spin move should be called the MINGSPIN.

Yao you see him, Yao you don't.

The Shanghai Shake is still the best though.

    Chicken Swim?

Yao did this chicken swim against Gasol, and slam it home. Yah, baby.
