As JVG says, it is hard to defend yourself in a knife fight in the back alley if that is not what you expect.

Miller is good...He played too many minutes last night. You can see how tired he was he shot the ball, but he's been a real solid passer for us. I just wish Adelman would be more aware of his player's conditioning, because the rotations last night were just baffling.

Not really. An 'offensive' team is more exciting to watch, and sells more tickets. A 'defensive' team just deflates the score while winning the same amount of games. Either way, it's good that Adelman has an excellent track record on both sides of the ball.

    1) Are those numbers NBA-wide?
    2) How about the years you aren't including? It seems that a lot of years are missing in your list.

Proven and having scored 100+pts against, Miami Heat, a top defensive-rated team. Defense wins the game at crunch time- should it even have to get to that moment :(

We run the same offense, Scola starting weakside and getting a pick coming strong side. He dribbles out the shot clock and attempts to pass out at the last second with what, no success (surprise).

Brad Miller and Scola together are flat out horrible. No rebounding and no D, especially one on one because they cannot get off the floor to block a shot or intimidate anyone. Jordan Hill is so light in the heart (pumping kool-aid) and pants, he refuses to get tough.

Finally, when will the Rockets stop relying on one on one D when RA's knows we cant stop our shadows in the post. Do something, anything different.
