I doubt SAC will get a lot for Artest based on his history and the fact that he can opt out next season. I just have doubts that our crap will be enough, because I surely don’t see the team trading T-Mac this year…and I don’t see why Sac would want anything else that we have. I don’t believe we have enough expiring contracts to trade with picks so they don’t have to absorb salary, right?

RA needs to draw up some plays that start with Yao holding the ball in the paint.

Sacramento is in between rebuilding mode and win-now mode. So, they either blow it up or they keep trying to improve by adding pieces. If they blow it up, we might be able to land Artest cheap. If not, don't count on it.

Artest is a beast in many ways. But sometimes you get his demon.

I dont care what he's done in the past and how is behavior and attitude is because he plays hard and is one of the best defensive players in the league and has a offensive game to go along with it that is a crazy combination and any team would kill for that. The only reason teams shy away is because of his off the court issues which I believe should be sacrificed for winning. We will have one of the best starting lineups and frontcourts in the league. I would give up battier n change for artest any day hopefully a miracle will happen and we'll have him.

Thank you, I will repeat the thread. I said we need a BEAST LIKE ARTEST. Not necessarily Artest. However, i don't know that many beastly players like Artest. I think Landry has a chance with experience and improving his jump shot range and handles.

I definitely believe Artest would help us get out the first round

Boy, everybody is making artest out to be Jordan all of a sudden. One stretch in the 4th quarter of one game and he is the greatest ever? How often does he have moments like that? Check his stats over the next 5 games and see what he does. I'm not saying he is not a very good tough player at times, but come on. Some of this is getting out of hand. How soon some of you forget T-Mac's 13 in 30secs. Just a few games ago T-mac turned it up in the 4th quarter and scored like 7 consecutive points to blow the game open for us. But i guess that doesn't count.

    ......

Well if predicting a trade for a semi-all star that makes less than 10 million a year is a dynamic trade than you are mistaken. Artest was a clear target for us. He gets everything we need.

And a lot of other fans wanted him too even before you posted that.

He's not the only one to do something like this. In fact, this almost always happens. Someone makes a prediction, happens to come true and bumps on old ass thread. Life goes on.
