Ron just can't control his emotion. I think he's not a chemistry killer. I heard the Kings' owners are sort of Mafia. So they can control Ron.

do you guys realize just how selfish ron artest is ? i mean really

all this talk about the rockets sharing the ball and playing as a team, and you want RON ARTEST ? do you see the way the guy plays ? he will break a play and go for his every chance he gets, and believe me he doesnt always play like he did last night.

I would do that trade. But the kings if they did this trade would ask for more.
If the Rockets did that trade this team would be better, play with more passion and heart.

The Jazz have always been dirty and I like how he played them with their style.

I would trade T-mac for Artest also!!! For heaven sake Artest is one of the best defenders out there and on top of that his offensive skills are so close to T-mac. Majority of Artest FG% is attacking the basket something T-mac only does 30% of the time. He continues to draw fouls every time he attacks the rack. And his FT% is practically even with T-mac lol, same with 3pt%

Ban anyone that has a thought outside of yours. Our team is scared down the stretch and all you have to do is double Yao or Tmac when they have the ball and everyone else falls apart when the clock hits 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

I am not sure about his selfishness as I do not watch him often enough but his carreer assist is 3.2 and his assist with Sacramento is 3.9 which is quite
decent and does not indicate any selfishness.

This guy is terrible, like a little kid or something. Paul made that three and Artest thinks he embarrased him, he's too full of himself to realize he's the one who got embarrased. That short clip against the Jazz is just terrible, childish behaviour and really far worse than Maxwell. More than half of the times Maxwell got a T or went nuts he scored a lot or played really good D. Artest doesn't do anything for you when he gets mad so he's definetly not an option.

    Trade Scenerio

    Rockets trade Mcgrady & Brooks

    Sacramento trade Bibby & Artest

    Team Makeup

    Ming Hayes
    Scola Landry
    Artest Battier
    Wells Head
    Bibby Alston

I think that team would be much better. It would kind of be like that kings team that gave the spurs a fit but better. Also you bring players that know Aldeman's system.

Trading McGrady will disrupt the whole team. If we were to get Artest, we need to get him without losing any core players though I doubt the Maloofs are willing. If only Adelman relationship with the Maloofs are great, the situation would have been different.

Are you referring to Tmac disrupting the Kings team if he was traded?

Nope, I was referring to disruption to Rockets. Remembered when Francis was traded for TMac, the first 10 games of that season was not good.

It wouldn't be like that with Bibby and Artest, because they know his system.

I thought everyone wants ball movement? Artest is a ball stopper. He does not have the passing or vision of T-Mac. Yall complain about T-Mac holding the ball too much and making the offense stagnant. Artest would be even worst. Stop basing judgments on one game or a highlight video. Artest plays better defense than T-Mac and thats about it. T-Mac not only scores, but he gets his teammates shots and makes them better. Artest is only about himself on offense.

As I have said earlier, Ron is very good player but he is still a risk and for the benefit of doubt, I could assume that risk is minimal but then for one of our core and key player like TMac in the mid season where we are fighting for survival. It is just too risky. If Ron can be obtained for others means and if anything goes wrong, we can still continue with our current core.

You are also making a judgment based on this one game. I agree, he killed the Rox last night. He is a good player and he got very hot at the end of the game. But Rafer did the same thing only in the third quarter of the last two games. Im not saying Rafer is as good as Ron, just that you need to remember it was one very hot quarter that Artest had. Where was he the night before when SAC lost to Memphis. Its not like he does what he did to the Rockets all the time.

Artest would negatively influence Bonzi. Imagine the two of them sitting in Artest's Escalade, smoking up and eating pies from House of Pies before practice.

Adelman: "So why were you guys late to practice yesterday?"

RonRon and BonBon in unison: "We were working on our new rap album."

I think that trade gives the Rockets the best chance to get out of the first round and go deep in the playoffs. With Tmac the Rockets are first round and out.
